Flyvestation Karup

På den jyske hede ligger Danmarks største militære anlæg, Flyvestation Karup. Et sted hvor der normalt er adgang forbudt. Her er 3.500 ansatte og over 1.000 bygninger - alt sammen skjult bag et 42 km langt hegn. Flyvestationen er hjemsted for brandfolk, hunde, piloter, meteorologer. Døgnet rundt er der aktiviteter i luften og på jorden. Vi følger nogle af de mange ansatte både inde og udenfor hegnet.
