Flash Forward

Becca Fisher and Tucker James are two 13 year-olds who have been best friends since birth. They live next door to each other and have shared birthday parties, babysitters and backyard swings. But now, Becca and Tucker are beginning the rite of passage known as the eighth grade. Suddenly, they are teenagers, testing the bounds of their new independence while struggling to hang on the their past.

La vicenda principale si svolge a Los Angeles e il protagonista è un agente della FBI. Il 29 ottobre 2009, durante una normale giornata, l'intera razza umana è soggetta a un black out nel quale la mente di ciascun essere è proiettata per sei mesi nel futuro. Nei ricordi postumi ognuno ricorderà di aver vissuto qualcosa che deve accadere il 29 aprile 2010 (o il 30 aprile per via del fuso orario, come attesta una collega britannica ispettrice a Londra, contattata telefonicamente subito dopo il flash forward). Una volta uscita da questo black out generale, ogni persona cercherà di scoprire se quello che ha visto sarà quello che accadrà veramente. Nel lasso di tempo trascorso molte persone sono morte in incidenti che coinvolgevano veicoli, aerei, navi e ogni altro mezzo che necessitava di un controllo umano.

Um olhar sobre a vida de dois melhores amigos e vizinhos desde o nascimento, Tucker e Rebecca, e suas respectivas aventuras enquanto viajam pelo turbulento mundo da oitava série.
