Not that I needed another one, but another new project car landed right in my lap recently. My neighbor, Bobby, recently moved out of the neighborhood and sold me his 1975 Chevrolet Corvette. He parked the car decades ago due to a few small mechanical issues and it hadn't moved until my friends and I helped pack up his garage and uncover the car. It needs a thorough cleaning and a good coat of wax. I'm sure the brakes and suspension need some work and you can bet that the engine is likely frozen. My question is while rebuilding the internals of the engine should we modify the external parts for more power? We could add aluminum heads, a high-rise intake manifold etc? Or should we just up the inside of the engine and keep the outside stock appearing?
