Cheryl was lied to throughout the episode, by both Dave and Pete. Dave told her that Jake was still living at Geri's when in fact he's run away. Geri discovered that Dave didn't know where Jake was and we were reminded that Jake has to sign in with his parole officer on Thursday. Pete lied to Cheryl about Eileen's disappearance. Later, while drunk, he came clean with Sadie and told her that he'd ruined his last chance with Eileen, that he'd loved her all along and never meant to hurt her. Doug thought that Marc had had a fling with Yasmin and had dumped her. Before consulting Marc about the issue he apologised to Yasmin for his behaviour on Marc's behalf.
