Our dream of overlanding Iceland has been thirteen years in the making, and when our trucks roll off of this ferry, we begin to live it. Having completed our journey through Northern Europe and our week in the Faroe Islands, the team is ready for this epic final phase of the Nordic Expedition. But with this new beginning come big changes to the team: We say goodbye to Rachelle Croft and hello to Ashley Giordano, and Fleet Manager, Tanner Johnson, reunites with the crew on the shores of Iceland. Then, it’s off to get a taste of Iceland’s infamous “F-Roads” on our way to visit Arctic Trucks, where we will check out these amazing overlanding machines and meet up with local legend Torfi Johannsson. Our 4x4 off-pavement journey through Iceland’s massive glaciers, active volcanoes, myriad rivers, lava fields, and black sand beaches starts now.
