I got a headset now and I decided I would try start a LP series because a lot of people have been asking me to. I'll still be posting new invention / tutorial videos separate from the LP videos.
I spend most of this episode designing a new, very small and simple, mob trap. I taunt a creeper and then later catch his buddy!
Frigg'n Creepers! Today we start work on a very small tree farm. You also see me die many times.
Running low on resources. We spend most our time this episode working on the road and we get a boat dispenser up and running.
We work on the road a bit more and get a lot done. I finish redesigning the return system. We also get a big portion of the road built. At the end we take our first test drive on the new road and everything works great!
Special episode today! We visit my other world to look at a nearly finished intersection / junction for the EATS system. This is a sneak peak to demonstrate how a finished road segment may function. The road junction demonstrates how to hook 4 road ends
Today we try to solve our resource problem by going spelunking. This is how I normally get resources when I play, but it doesn't work so well when playing on hard difficulty.
This episode we start setting up base for our big mob trap project. I setup a water break, explain the game plan a bit, and get off to a good start on the project.
I try to celebrate the milestone event by planting a tree and then trying to blow it up in some needlessly complicated, yet epic, manner.
I reveal the work I've done carving out a large mob trap. We work at building a modified 3x3 mobavator and figuring out how the water currents should be in it.
We spend some time conquering a zombie spawner and building a very simple automatic harvester around it. The killing mechanism works by drowning the zombies. This makes it 100% efficient because it also kills the zombies as quickly as they spawn.
We use this episode to explore some of the different suggestions and questions people left in the previous episode's comments. The abrupt ending is due to technical difficulties.
Finally I get around to wiring our EATS dispenser, finishing 1 end of the road. I had a lot of people asking me how to do this. Eventually I'll get around to making a proper tutorial for this.
I removed all the torches from the mob spawning grounds in our big mob trap system. It actually seems to work relatively well, but only if I am standing near it.
Today we go on a trip to the nether to establish a base and collect some slow sand. Later we use the slow sand to start building a mechanical timer for our mob system.
I'm impulsive and impatient. Today we start work on the second story of our storage room / house, before we've even really started the first story!
Today we just mess around with a few mob related things. I do a test to see what happens if you stack 2 mobs on top of each other while in mine carts.
I finally get around to starting the Level 1 storage area. It's going to be a big warehouse. All in all though, I only get around to building the inner ring of dispensers.
Yes! The 2500 subscriber special is finally here! Oddly, my subscriber count seems to increase by 100 every episode I release. What do we do to celebrate? You will just have to watch to find out.
Unexpected episode. I decided I should start recording when I saw a few trees go up in flames on their own. Ignore what I said about the s(low/oul) sand. Spiders can climb it, but they seem to have more trouble with it. Despite what many people think,
We start our search of the nether for glowstone. We need glowstone for the checker pattern in the storage room. Not much progress is made though due to an unexpected surprise.
part 1 of 2, had to split the video due to repeated upload failures
I'm not a very focused person. Today we jump around the place looking a various awesome inventions. One of the projects I work on is trying to improve a skeleton mob separator invented by YouTuber, BDtetra
Today I find the answer to a friendly challenge posed to me by ZawBanjito (opening voice). It's an automatic mob sorter that works by taking advantage of the attack behavior of mobs.
First I check the egg and snowball rumors. Then we fix the spider separator. I think the changes I make to it will allow it to function even when the mobs get heavily clumped together like they did last episode.
