Electronic Arts / Rare / Panzer Dragoon

It's an EA Sports extravaganza. Vic and Tommy bounce between San Jose and Vancouver to talk to Don Matrick (head of EA's North American Studios), Ken Balthasar (the producer of NCAA Football), Cody Murray (Assistant Producer for NASCAR), Evan Hirsch (Manager of EA's motion capture studios) and EA Sports' big cheese Scott Orr. If it's in the game, it's on the show. Ken Lobb of Nintendo is back to explain to Vic the advantages of using Cartridges vs. CD-ROMs. You'll be surprised by what he has to say. Sega's Mark Subotnik shows us how a shooter can become an RPG. Vic gets the goods on Panzer Dragoon Saga for the Saturn. Psygnosis is up to their usual eye-candy tricks. We talk to Lisa Cheney (Product Manager) and Mike Ellis (Designer) about the spellbinding Colony Wars for the PC and PSX. As well, we get the skinny on G-Police with the game's producer, Ross Thody.
