In this episode we meet the group, gather some early Caves & Cliffs Update resources, do a bunch of trading, and lay the foundation for my base: a desert empire!
In this episode we start aging copper the fast way, breeding bees to set up an automatic honeycomb farm, and take our first trip to the Nether! We also get a visit from fWhip's food delivery service and make our first trade on the server.
In this episode we open the doors of my copper empire wide open and invite my server-mates to trade. The catch? Anybody who doesn't want to trade gets pranked...
In this episode we help MythicalSausage with a zombie problem, trade with PearlescentMoon, forge a dye alliance with Katherine Elizabeth, and build an epic sandstone foundry for a blast furnace auto-smelter!
Or, "How I Killed Half The Server." In this episode I take GeminiTay, PearlescentMoon, Katherine Elizabeth and MythicalSausage on a voyage to the outer End islands. The plan is to cross the void with a redstone flying machine and raid the End Cities without ever fighting the Ender Dragon, then throw our equipment into an ender chest and return home. Unfortunately, it doesn't all go according to plan...
In this episode I decide to spend a more peaceful few days terraforming sections of my empire's desert landscape. We work out path designs, gardens, and house builds! But after all that work, my tools are in need of an upgrade, so I blow up chunks of the Nether looking for Ancient Debris.
In this episode I trade with Scott Smajor and Smallishbeans, start a community monument I'm calling The Vigil, and set up a honey bottle farm for honey blocks!
In this episode, it's time for another Heist! MythicalSausage has a kingly collection of librarian villagers whom I intend to steal away so I can trade freely with them for glass - but can I fool him into thinking his villagers were turned into Witches by a chance lightning strike? We'll need a pillager raid, a lot of minecarts, and a few buckets of milk...
In this episode, I trade PearlescentMoon some totally legit, not shady at all Mending books in exchange for food, offer to build a giant cod statue for SolidarityGaming, receive a gift from GeminiTay, and make a start on a storage building.
In this episode, I accidentally uncover a trap, cheat death in a deal with House Blossom, make progress on my storage house, and lay a mysterious prank for fWhip. We also catch our first glimpse of the 12th and final member of Empires SMP: Shubble!
In this episode, the prank war ramps up. I explain the pranks on fWhip's base after he's fallen for them, then meet up with Jimmy to airdrop some ravagers into MythicalSausage's wheat field. We also apply a new block palette to the, uh, Copper Cod...
In this episode, I set out to prove that Pixandria is the most advanced empire on the server. Luckily for me, Minecraft has a good way of tracking this... So it's time to upgrade to full Netherite, fight the Wither, get my first beacon, fight alongside an axolotl, boat a goat, and more!
In this episode, we do something truly advanced: construct a redstone machine which captures copper blocks from a flying machine for optimal oxidation! We also visit the Swamp to see the aftermath of peace talks, collect some slime, and help the Codfather with some villager curing.
In this episode, we solve our weapons, lighting, and xp farming issues with a single farm - a river biome drowned farm! While copper is a nice side effect, we're here for the nautilus shells and tridents...
In this episode, the River Drowned farm starts paying out big time in XP and Tridents. We give the Codfather the gift of flight in exchange for lots of slime. Joey Graceffa stops by to offer immortality, and amid some ominous thunderstorms, we build a shrine for future totems of undying to be donated.
In this episode, we expand the rivers around Pixandria, start terraforming the desert, build bridges, participate in a flying lesson with SmallishBeans and PearlescentMoon, and create new ways to keep up with the other empires' death counts at the Vigil!
In this episode, we start a densely packed town area across the newly bridged river in Pixandria! A demon arrives to profane the sacred light of the Vigil, and we attend the wedding of LDShadowLady and Smallishbeans.
In this episode, the demon has left more sinister signs of ill intent. But when life gives us demons, we make demonade! Can we turn this into something that benefits Pixandria? The copper king has plans...
In this episode, the Codfather calls his allies to him. We step into enemy territory to recover the true Cod Head. The journey takes us to some places we never expected, and then... everything changes.
In this episode, the Copper King stumbles upon a forgotten shrine with long dormant power, and rekindles his friendship with the local villages. A Phantom guards the streets of Pixandria, but the demon's corruption has taken hold...
In this episode, the Copper King continues his self-imposed exile, building a ghast farm in the hopes of stocking up on gunpowder and End Crystals to aid his rivals. Meanwhile, the Phantom works to right the wrongs the errant king unwittingly committed.
In this episode, the Copper King returns to Pixandria because the enemy is at the doorstep... but with newfound powers of lightning, it might be possible to secure a new alliance!
In this episode, the Copper King forges a new alliance with Count fWhip of the Grimlands. An alliance made of gunpowder, copper, and heists! Together they strike back at the growing power of Mythland, and with that done, the Copper King turns his attention to the corruption...
In this episode, the Copper King trades Pointed Dripstone for Turtle Eggs with Lizzie the Ocean Queen. Joel, King of Mezalea, comes to collect his copper, and we investigate the mysterious Mythland Embassy that appeared on my territory overnight...
In this episode, MythicalSausage and Pearlescentmoon invite a bunch of empires to participate in a PVP arena battle, and invite their new... friend? Back in Pixandria, we start the Anthill project.
In this episode, the Anthill mega-base begins to take shape again, Ocean Queen Lizzie drops by to learn about Birth Days, and we begin to plot our revenge against MythicalSausage.
In this episode, Scott Smajor invites the empires to a feast to celebrate the vanquishing of the demon, and fWhip announces a new way to determine who is the true ruler of Empires SMP. We trade copper to Joey Graceffa, then MythicalSausage and Katherine invite us trick-or-treating...
In this episode, by the decree of our new ruler King Jimmy, I establish a Cod Sanctuary in Pixandria! We also build an embassy statue in the Cod Empire, and do more work on the Anthill.
In this episode, Elytra use has been outlawed by our new king, Scott Smajor. So we do our best to get around using Riptide, donkeys, and our own two feet! That also won't stop us visiting the new Empire of Mangrovia, founded on the Love Tropics livestream.
Empires SMP returns for Season 2! In this episode we meet the group and welcome a newcomer for Season 2! I establish a base, go caving with fWhip for my first diamonds, then explain my plan for this season - which might be a little different to what you see from the other Empires. After changing into some new clothes, enchanting some tools and exploring the Nether, the group reunites for a meeting, and a mystery begins to unfold...
In this episode we raid the End Cities with Joey Graceffa and MythicalSausage, then turn a triple cave spider spawner into "The Machine": an xp farm with a sinister backstory. More light-hearted fun arrives when GeminiTay visits to trade for some string, MythicalSausage returns with a fresh Elytra, and I decide to pull my first prank on Sheriff Jimmy!
In this episode we trade with Shubble for some Mangrove propagules, build the first ruin of an ancient capital city, explore the Nether looking for locations for Froglight and Wither Skeleton farms, and take on the Wither to claim our first beacon!
In this episode we level a Basalt Delta biome to encourage magma cube spawns... then encourage them to jump into a pit with a bunch of frogs, so we can farm my first export - Froglights! The Froglights are an instant hit, and we're able to fulfill one trade request from GeminiTay - but then The Sheriff gives us the coordinates for an important historical find...
In this episode we embark on one of my biggest builds ever - an ancient bridge spanning the lake near Spawn! But before we can do that, we need to mine a LOT of stone, visit an Ancient City to grab a Swift Sneak enchantment, and do a quick Froglight trade with Scott Smajor. Once the Greatbridge is finished, I unpack all the details of the build, unpack all my shulker boxes, and go sneak a detail into someone else's base which they'll hopefully thank me for later.
In this episode we check out MythicalSausage's addition to the Greatbridge, then build a new road leading off the bridge and down to a fountain where people can exchange silk touched emerald ore blocks for a reward of emeralds! Finishing the pillars for the Greatbridge has needed a lot of mud, so we head back to the ruins and set up a mud factory.
In this episode we trade Froglights to fWhip and MythicalSausage in exchange for wood and stone, deal with the issue of missing calcite from the mountain near my base, and start a new storage system - a set of catacombs with a few redstone secrets hidden within them!
In this episode we flash back to a bunch of collabs I've done this week! We help fWhip sneak a Warden into Joel's base, fight the Warden with the help of the group, then trade froglights to Lizzie and Katherine, Deepslate to Joey, and an Allay to MythicalSausage!
In this episode we finish up the Ancient Capital catacombs - which is actually my storage system! We build an angelic statue watching over the tomb, then add item filters and water streams for some automatic storage. While working on the Nether and End storage rooms, we get news about the new server laws laid down by Sheriff Jimmy, and decide to patch things up with Smallishbeans.
In this special 'Behind The Scenes' episode, I build a pirate hideout inside a GIANT SKULL - all so Joey Graceffa can raid it on his quest to re-assemble his crew! After a time lapse build of the skull exterior, I explain my process of designing a pirate fort with puzzles, parkour, secret chests and loads of loot! Oh, and I also pack it with nametagged skeletons.
In this episode we get a visit from Pirate Joe, start laying out roads for the Ancient Capital, build a tower around my Nether Portals, judge the 'toy barn' case between Smallishbeans and SolidarityGaming, then complete the Gatehouse - an entrance to my empire from the Greatbridge!
In this episode we build a Museum at the Ancient Capital, and look for artifacts to fill it! Jimmy's fossil discovery is an obvious choice, but what else could we put on display here?
With multiple projects happening behind the scenes, I take some time to work on the main road leading from the Greatbridge into the Ancient Capital. And along the way, I stumble upon the mathematical identity of my empire.
We all know how froglights are farmed. But how are they grown? Today I bring the natural world to the Ancient Capital, planting a Froglight orchard in the farming district, just past Ratio Road. But then a new creature comes back from the pasture, and we have to select the ideal animal companion.
In this 'Behind the Lore' episode, I create a group of Bandits who have been bootlegging Terracotta in Jimmy's mesa, as a way to set him up with renewable Terracotta. It... kinda works.
Today I reveal the final exhibit in my Museum at the Ancient Capital, have a long-awaited meeting with FalseSymmetry, finish a few incomplete sections of the Greatbridge, and throw eggs at something I'm pretty sure Lizzie built.
Today the Museum gets a visit from the original owner of the Megabase exhibit. I help fWhip and Katherine with their redstone projects, and we all gather for a festival around the mysterious portal that appeared near spawn...
The Rift opens a link between Empires SMP and the Hermitcraft server, and a bunch of Hermits arrive through it! The rift flings them to the far corners of the server, and one of them ends up running into me... In the meantime, I get caught up rebuilding my copper aging machine from Empires Season 1, trade with Lizzie and Gem for slime and honey, and work on the Froglight Orchard some more!
A group of Hermits came through the Rift from Hermitcraft, and I wanted to make them feel welcome! So in this video I trade Keralis a Dodo, give JoeHills a tour of my copper aging machine, make an important discovery mining with ImpulseSV, help GeminiTay with her identity crisis, and become Cubfan135's wingman on his quest to get Elytra! Having finally got my hands on the rarest ore block in the game, I create a Deepslate Emerald ore wishing fountain with some rare and valuable prizes!
With the Hermits getting established, I team up with some other MythicalSausage, Oli TheOrionSound, and Katherine Elizabeth to investigate the Rift and figure out the L.O.R.E. behind it shutting down. FalseSymmetry joins us, but which FalseSymmetry is it? In the meantime I give iJevin a tour of the server's farms, teach Grian how to use my copper aging facility, and finally get a bit more building done on the avenue of buildings that leads to the Ancient Capital!
I need a Recovery Compass to complete the Ancient City exhibit for my Museum, and iJevin is ready to help me raid the City! But when I return to the museum, something tragic has occurred, and the Recovery Compass might be my only hope of solving possibly the greatest crime in Minecraft history!
Investigating a zombie noise from my catacombs leads to an epic discovery: Rendog has been buried there this whole time! After digging him up and letting him loose on the world, I meet up with Xisuma to build Ianxofour's next gen copper farm in the End. Along the way we discover the most convenient zombie spawner ever, X falls into the void for a laugh, and I create a perfect circle of Drowned!
My Dodo's just got these dancing feet, and he wants you all to know it.
Photo-sensitivity warning! In today's episode, iJevin swings by and wants to team up on an Enderman farm, but I have a couple of twists to throw in! I'm in the middle of filming my Dodo short, so we bring two Dodos to the End and fight the dragon from 'horseback'. Once we're done, we trick Minecraft into spawning an End gateway in the void, so we have a direct portal to the Ender Ender! Back in the Overworld, my Deepslate Emerald is still missing, so I hire JoeHills to help with museum security (at this point, anything to stop him breeding more cats.)
In today's episode, I spend most of my time working on a super fast Wither Skeleton farm in a distant Warped Forest. But back in the Overworld, Rendog offers me a piece of history for the Museum, and our new security guard Joe Hills sounds the alarm when Sculk starts to spread around the base! We also get a visit from Xisuma, who offers to help moving the piglins into the Wither Skeleton farm in exchange for a few skulls of his own.
In today's episode, the Sculk spread has gone too far. Cubfan135 is possessed, and has been hiding Sculk Catalysts and swapping lights for soul torches in an attempt to spread sculk throughout the server! With the infection now reaching the Museum and the Greatbridge, I confront Cub about the Sculk menace and recruit Falsesymmetry and Shubble to help me restore Cub back to his old self again. We also get help from cleaning lady PearlescentMoon and museum security engineer JoeHills to fix up the Ancient Capital!
In today's episode, after a successful cleanup at the Ancient Capital, I help out my fellow empires by taking my sculk catalyst cleaning service to them! And all they have to do in exchange is help me complete the elusive set of Rendog's giblets!
In this episode, the LORE team discovers the construction of Grian's new electronic son Grumbot might spell the end of the world. The Hermits try to head home, and Fort Riff-less is there to stop them! When push comes to shove, the Hermits make their way back through the Rift - but what's to stop us from following them?
In this episode, I wake up in the Crastle and craft some diamond gear! Meeting up with Joel in the shopping district, we make plans to transform a nearby mountain crater into a Christmas Empire. Xisuma stops by and gives me a tour of his base, and we get to work hollowing out his mountain for a copper aging machine - then I run into ImpulseSV while upgrading my enchantment game!
In this episode, I work on my contributions to the Christmas district - a Santa's Workshop build and a frozen river - before Xisuma swings by and we take my copper aging machine to the next level! David the Fifth is a massive redstone build, capable of aging 468 blocks of copper at full capacity. Xisuma helps me prepare, build, and set up the machine in a massive time lapse. Meanwhile my Secret Santa reveals himself to be iJevin, and I draw a name out of the Secret Santa sleigh for my own christmas gift!
In this episode, after witnessing DocM bring the Ender Dragon to the Overworld, I pay Zedaph a visit and he proposes his latest Zedvancement - stringing together the longest possible team of pig riders for an epic dangle and an obstacle course! We gather 13 players from Hermitcraft & Empires, and try to set a world record for the longest pig train. Let's see how we do!
In this episode, after finishing my Santa's Workshop build and trying my best to spread a little christmas cheer around the Hermitcraft server, the Rift's shrinking becomes unavoidable and the remaining Empires say their farewells.
In this episode, after returning from Hermitcraft, the looming monolith of Hermitopia needs some attention. That's right, we're covering the whole thing in glass so it can be preserved as a site of historical interest!
In this episode, while working on some terraforming around the Ancient Capital, Pixlriffs goes looking for the missing artifacts left behind by Rendog - and discovers a stolen artifact in the depths of Gobland!
In this episode, Pixlriffs digs up an artifact that might change the balance of power between the Empires. Tribute begins to arrive at the Museum, and a huge castle build takes place on the newly finished cliff-top.
In this episode, King Pixlriffs continues work on the Ancient Capital Castle Base, appraises tribute left at the Museum, is invited to a Princess tea party, and dies in mysterious circumstances. Long live the king!
In this episode, I return as a ghost to haunt the other Empires! But there's no reason I can't be a friendly ghost, so I help Oli TheOrionSound with his redstone and build a froglight tree for the people of Chromia. Then, returning to the Ancient Capital, I build the first towers of my Grand Castle!
