Viv’s suspicions are aroused when Bob gets angry and refuses to talk about Roger and his past. When she realises that he has left his briefcase behind, Viv can’t resist the temptation to snoop around inside and makes a shocking discovery. There is an envelope addressed to Mr and Mrs Hope in Chesterfield. Viv confides in Carol about her findings and Carol insists that she must confront Bob and face the truth. Rodney invites his family for a meal at Chez Marlon. They are less than eager to accept but reluctantly agree to attend. Carlos is put out over dinner when Ashley mentions that he and Bernice have been invited to Sorrento. Bernice is surprised when Nicola lets slip that she has asked Carlos to move in with her.
