小娘惹之翡翠山

五十年代，新加坡翡翠山的张家战后家业兴盛。掌舵人张企业早逝，三子承继家业。长媳淑玉害死公公，被婆婆秀娘疏远，家务由二媳妇淑琴接手。秀娘丧夫足不出户三年，淑琴悉心照料，终劝动她在48岁生日当天出房门。秀娘坚持不让淑玉参加上香，淑琴巧设局让淑玉做秀娘爱吃的咖喱木薯叶。不料木薯叶被抢购，淑玉错失时机。
