Aakash informs Gautam that Poonam is struggling to wear the saree, given to her by his mother. Gautam convinces his mother to allow Poonam to perform the engagement rituals, without changing her dress. While exchanging the wedding rings, Poonam’s ring slips off her hand. Aakash returns the ring to her. Dadi asks him to return home immediately as Sanjay and his family have arrived to meet Prarthana. Sanjay’s father refuses to get his son married to Prarthana.
