It starts off with Bonnie Bunny, Maximillian Mouse and Edward Elephant having a quiet breakfast in the garden when Joe Crow flies over them in his plane as he gets some early morning practice for a display of daredevil flying. This impresses Max but Bonnie can't bear to watch. Joe's flying is so breathtaking that it takes Edwards breath away, causing him to get hiccups.
It starts out with Boris Bulldog walking through the town, delivering some post and he has something special to deliver, an invitation for Bonnie, Edward and Max to Lionel Lions fancy dress party where there'll be a prize for the most unusual costume. They receive the letter and Max reads it out to Bonnie and Edward, the idea of the contest makes them think of what they'll dress up as, Max decides that he'll dress up as a car and walks off making car noises. Bonnie comments "How's he going to be a car?" to which Edward replies "Probably going to grow wheels," Max returns in a car costume saying "Beep beep" and 'drives' in-between Bonnie and Edward.
In the episode, Boris Bulldog gets a scooter and has a lot of fun with it.
Clive Crocodile discovers his old kite in his garden shed, and has a lot of fun with it, until he gets it stuck in a tree.
Bertie Bulldog becomes a detective and gets his first case.
Edward Elephant discovers an old camera buried underground, and becomes a reporter.
Edward Elephant joins the Fabuland band and writes a song which becomes a great hit.

Wilfred Walrus, captain of the Fabuland steamer, finds some treasure on a long-lost island.
Edward Elephant clumsily becomes a superhero, and then he tries to find somebody to rescue.
A play is being performed in Fabuland, and all the residents try out their parts.
Edward Elephant decides he will go skating at the skate park, but while attempting to do a 360, he falls and cuts his knee.
While going for a walk in the park, Bonnie Bunny finds a mole living in a molehill.
After a long rainstorm, Max Mouse finds a rainbow and sets off to find a pot of gold.
Wilfred Walrus, captain of the Fabuland Steamer, goes to the same long-lost island he went to in Wilfred's Treasure, but this time, he finds an old rocking chair in a dark cave.
Edward wants to fill in Lucy Lamb's job of helping his friends, but he ends up just making a mess.
Lionel Lion, mayor of Fabuland, buys a new car from the garage, quits his job as mayor and becomes a taxi driver.
Max Mouse gets a robot to do his chores for him, but it malfunctions, leaving Max to do his jobs himself.
Edward Elephant invents a weather machine, but when he sets it to snow, it causes a blizzard. Will Santa remember to land there?
Joe Crow invited Edward, Bonnie and Max for a ride with his airplane, but it breaks down, so instead they fly in a hot air balloon.
Catherine Cat starts to bake, everybody smells the delicious cake, so they anticipate it very much. But Catherine falls asleep and burns the cake.
Max, Bonnie and Edward promise to stay together to catch bugs, but they get seperated. Edward, however, being non-forgetful, doesn't wander off and stays near the bush where he found a little butterfly feasting on one of Hannah Hippopotamus's flowers, whom he calls "Edward's Butterfly". Bonnie, meanwhile, is still hunting for bugs, and catches one, but the bug turns out to be Max, whom she hit on the head.
Edward wants to drive Oscar's car, but he's too young, so he builts a go-kart instead. They start a race, too.
A lot of snow fell in Fabuland overnight, everybody enjoys it. Except Oscar, who got stuck in his car.
The clock tower's bell goes wrong, everybody tries to find a solution.
Clive tries to prove to Edward he's taller than him. He even builts a pair of stilts.
Residents in Fabuland want to surprise Oscar with a statue; a sign of appreciation for being such a great mayor, but the statue breaks when they about to unload it from the ship.
