Earthworm Jim

Eigentlich war Jim ein ganz normaler, unscheinbarer Regenwurm, der das tat, was Regenwürmer eben so tun. Doch mit diesem beschaulichen Würmerleben hatte es ein Ende, als eines Tages ein mysteriöser außerirdischer Superanzug vom Himmel fiel und ihn in den mächtigsten und stärksten Regenwurm des Universums verwandelte. Doch das Leben als Superwurm ist nicht immer so einfach wie es scheint...

The TV show Earthworm Jim is based on a video game by the same name. As in the video game, our main character is Earthworm Jim, an annelid with a power suit. His best friend is Peter Puppy, a scared doggy, but when Peter gets mad... Let's say you do NOT wanna be in the vicinity. His love interest is the "beautiful" (whether she really is or not depends on whether you're a pro or anti) Princess Whats-Her-Name. The villains are the evil Psycrow (an evil, well, crow.), Evil the Cat (a cat who lives in Heck), Bob & #4 (a goldfish and his very big friend), Queen Pulsating, Bloated, Festering, Sweaty, Pus-Filled, Malformed, Slug-for-a-Butt and others. Our hero must do battle with these creatures, and while he does, he's a master of hilarious quotes.

Earthworm Jim es una serie animada estadounidense, tuvo 23 episodios en 2 temporadas (1995-1996) en el bloque infantil Kids' WB! de The WB Television Network en los Estados Unidos. Esta basada en la serie de videojuegos con el mismo nombre creado por Doug TenNapel. La serie sigue las aventuras de Earthworm Jim, una lombriz que se ha convertido en un superheroe por un traje robotico espacial. La serie fue producida por Universal Animation Studios junto con Akom Production Company, Flextech Television Limited, y Shiny Entertainment.

Jim, un lombric, reçoit une combinaison lui donnant des pouvoirs super puissants et va le différencier des autres vers de terre. Il doit aller sauver sa fiancée nommée Princesse What's-Her-Name dont la sœur, la reine Slug-for-a-Butt, est responsable de l'enlèvement de la princesse par l'aide de son serviteur, Psycrow, un corbeau chasseur de primes. Durant son aventure, Jim rencontrera des personnages loufoques comme Peter Puppy, un chien qui peut se transformer en un monstre mutant exprimant sa colère.
