One of the most deadly places on Earth, the “Ring of Fire” is a 40,000 kilometre-long chain of volcanoes and earthquake zones that surrounds the Pacific Ocean. “Earthshocks: Ring of Fire” visits this region to investigate the devastating potential that a megathrust of earthquakes would have in this area – and what this means for the two billion people in its wake.
