The Dinner Party

Fallon und Krystle geraten aneinander. Fallon macht ihrer Stiefmutter klar, dass in Blake Carringtons Haus auch bei der angespannten finanziellen Situation ein repräsentatives Leben geführt werden muss. Blake arrangiert daher eine großzügige Party, zu der er auch seine Konkurrenten Walter Lankershim und Matthew Blaisdel einlädt. Er hofft, im Verlauf der Party Matthew Blaisdel überreden zu können, wieder für ihn zu arbeiten. Während der Party versucht Blake, auch mit Colby ins Geschäft zu kommen. Während im Salon große Geschäfte angebahnt werden, finden im Garten Matthew und Krystle Zeit für eine Aussprache. Die beiden hatten eine Affäre, doch Matthew hat es nie geschafft, sich von seiner Frau Claudia zu trennen.

Blake apologizes to Walter and Matthew about their fight at the wedding and asks Matthew to come back to his old job. He also invites them to a dinner party at the mansion. During the dinner, many things happen; Steven and Claudia meet and get along really well, Matthew has a long talk with Krystle and tells her that he's still in love with her, and Cecil and Fallon start realizing their plans. Cecil offers to help Blake and Fallon starts hitting on Jeff.

Blake organise un grand diner afin de récupérer Matthew Blaisdel au sein de sa compagnie. Steven sympathise avec Claudia, la femme de Matthew, qui est instable emotionellement.
