Examines how women are represented in animation. Mary Ellen Bute is credited with launching the careers of Christopher Walken, Thelma Schumacher, Terry Gilliam and Cecile Starr. The programme examines her legacy and her abstract animations.

    Dope Sheet looks into Anime afficionados. Members of the Dark Society explain why Anime isn't sexist and why they would rather watch `Akira' than have any friends, and the programmes exposes fan-dubbing where fans do sub-titling for themselves. The Art Brut project was started by Nag Ansorge in 1963. He takes DOPE SHEET on a tour of Lausanne Hospital where he uses clips as therapy for the inmates.
