元カノから押し付けられた愛犬の世話に手を焼いていた主人公・佐村未祐。そんなある日、犬の散歩中に腕利きドッグトレーナー・丹羽眞一郎と出会ったことで、優柔不断な未祐の人生が大きく動き出す！ 眞一郎の幼なじみであるトリマーの泉律佳や獣医の久宝鈴之介といった仲間たちとの出会い、そして個性豊かな犬や飼い主とのふれあいのなかで、学び、悩み、成長していく若者の姿を描く。
