Pug tries to remember an old nursery rhyme. He and Dog go to a fair where they meet the cat and the fiddle, the cow that jumps over the moon and the dish that ran away with the spoon.
Pug starts asking Dog for the answers to life's big questions. They go on an adventure with Granny Pug who shows them that there are not always simple answers to difficult questions.
Pug is being competitive when he cleans the bookshop. He and Dog join a race in Australia. They help brother and sister Kangaroos who are very competitive, but get stuck in the mud.
Pug needs help mending his new see-saw. On their adventure our friends meet a Troll who guards an old bridge so that the goats cannot cross it. Dog persuades the Troll to build a new strong bridge.
Dog and Pug go on an adventure and meet Camille the Chameleon who's very good at hiding. She is also very shy and when they hold a party no-one sees her. When they find another shy chameleon, Leon, the two can dance together.
Dog and Pug are trying to remember what they did yesterday. Their diary tells them that they found Granny Pug's lunchbox. They find her on the other side of a ravine so the neighbouring birds take them across the river.
Pug makes a kite but he doesn't know how to fly it. He and Dog go to China where they meet two squabbling Pandas looking for bamboo shoots. Pug and his kite get blown up in the air and he lands in a bamboo forest.
