The Touch of God

Jed Karnes, returning home for a visit, finds his mother gravely ill and seeks help from Doc Elliot. Jed's stepfather, however, believes strongly that faith healer Beth Ann Blackner can cure his wife, and protests "interference" by the doctor. The conflict is heightened with Beth Ann is able to help Jess Poulsen, suffering from paralysis of the legs, after Doc Elliot has been unsuccessful. Elliot's problems are further complicated when he realizes that Beth Ann may , herself, be suffering from epilepsy.
