This episode is set two months before the events of episode one. A shuttle is transporting four new cadets to the Watcher's Nest but on route the vessel is attacked by a Ghoul. It is then up to Misaki to defeat the alien and save her colleagues.
時は遡り、2317年10月12日。特殊部隊“セラフィム”候補生の紅葉みさきは、太陽系内での訓練を終え、同期のルクサンドラ、キリ、スサーナとともに、超空間航行によって次の任地へと向かう。そこは地球から遥か１０パーセク離れた、中継ステーション“ウォッチャーズ・ネスト”。みさきを乗せた移送艇が到着したと同時に、謎の異生命体“グール”が現れ、意識を失っているみさきを襲った！
Este episodio se establece dos meses antes de los eventos del episodio uno. Un transbordador está transportando a cuatro nuevos cadetes al Nido del Observador, pero en la ruta, el barco es atacado por un Ghoul. Entonces, depende de Misaki derrotar al alienígena y salvar a sus colegas.
