Susie is an automobile in an auto showroom who is bought by a man who is taken with her. She finds it hard to fit into high society but copes with it. Eventually, she becomes old and hard to operate and her owner trades her in. Another man notices her and buys her but this men is considerably less genteel leaving her out in the cold and mistreating her. Much to her horror, she eventually discovers she is a stolen car and is chased by the police during which she is totalled in an accident. Now Susie is kept in a junkyard but, when all looks hopeless, another man notices her, buys her, gives her an overhaul, and has her back on the road in no time.
Bilen Susies livshistoria är väldigt händelserik. Hon går från en fabriksny bil som drar ögonen till sig i en bilhall, till kasserad bil i en butik för begagnade bilar och till slut i stadens baksida. Den är full av höjdpunkter och nedgångar... dvs. en bils version av berättelsen om att gå från rikedom till trasor.

En "Suzie the Little Blue Coupe" tenemos a la pequeña Suzie, un coupe que vive una serie de sucesos, desde su vida lujosa hasta que encuentra al dueño de sus sueños, pasando por numerosos problemas de por medio. Cortometraje reestrenado en cines junto a "Ahí va ese bólido" (1968), que además es la principal fuente de inspiración del largometraje "Cars" y su secuela, según el propio John Lasseter.
Susie ist kleines blaues Coupe das zum Verkauf steht und nach einiger Zeit seinen Besitzer findet. Sie wird von ihrem Besitzer mit viel Liebe gefahren und gut behandelt. Allerdings nagt auch an ihr wie an jedem Auto irgendwann mal der Zahn der Zeit und wird alt und mürbe.
