Mickey and Minnie go picnicking but make the mistake of bringing Pluto along. The hound chases rabbits and damages Mickey's car; meanwhile, animals ransack the picnic lunch and Mickey sings "In the Shade of the Old Apple Tree."

Topolino e Minnie vanno a fare un picnic commettendo l'errore di portare anche Pluto, che infatti cominciando a inseguire i conigli danneggierà l'auto di Topolino. Nel frattempo svariati animali fanno razzia del cibo destinato al picnic.
Mickey et Minnie vont pique-niquer mais font l’erreur d’amener Pluto. Le chien poursuit les lapins et endommage la voiture de Mickey; Pendant ce temps, les animaux saccagent le pique-nique et Mickey chante « In the Shade of the Old Apple Tree ».
