Evha Jannath was on a trip to Drayton Manor. She was riding the Splash Canyon river rapids ride at the theme park when she was "propelled" into the water. Evha, who was couldn't swim, fell from a boat at the park when it collided with a wall. She then drowned. Although a jury inquest in 2019 concluded she died accidentally, the tragic and avoidable incident sent shockwaves around the United Kingdom but also unravelled and exposed a series of mistakes and systematic failings that could have prevented the young girls demise.
