A large portion of the third floor of Jerusalem's three-story Versailles Wedding Hall collapsed at 22:43 on May24,2001, during the wedding of Keren and Asaf Dror. As a result of the two stories, 23 people died, including the groom's 80-year-old grandfather and his three-year-old second cousin, who was the youngest victim. Another 380 people were hurt, including the bride, who needed surgery for serious pelvic injuries. Asaf, who escaped serious injury, carried out his wife of the rubble in his arms.
