Mikey und seine Freunde folgen Nenes Anweisungen und gelangen so in eine andere Zone. Sie erhoffen sich, von Archelomon und ChibiTortomon zu erfahren, wo sich die Code-Krone befindet. Mit deren Hilfe wollen sie die Inselzone vor der Bagra-Armee beschützen. Allerdings befindet sich die Krone an einem Ort, den man nur während des Sommerfestivals erreichen kann.
The mysterious and beautiful girl known as Nene explains to Taiki and the others about the Code Crown. It is revealed that what they have is but a fragment of a larger piece and that there is a fragment for every Zone. Using the fragment's power to do a Zone Transfer, Taiki's Xros Heart army ends up in the Island Zone, surrounded by a vast ocean. However they quickly find out that this is not an island paradise as the Bagura Army's influence is in this zone as well. The struggle to find the zone's Code Crown begins!
Nene les explica que el Code Crown es como el núcleo del digimundo, pero que fue dividido en tantas partes como zonas hay en este momento. Taiki al derrotar a Madleomon se convirtió en el dueño de la Zona Césped. Nene les enseña a como utilizar el "Cambio de Zona" a través del XrosLoader. Con esto abren un portal el cual los lleva a otra zona. Cuando llegan se encuentran con una tropa de Gizamon atacando a un anciano Archelomon. Shoutmon X2 los espanta y salvan a la tortuga digimon.
