The documentary series describes everyday life in the Regis-Breitingen juvenile detention center near Leipzig, where numerous measures are used to bring delinquent youngsters back onto the path of virtue and integrate them into normal life. The 370 young men between the ages of 14 and 23 who are in prison for robbery, burglary, property damage, vandalism, assault and other crimes are cared for by doctors and therapists and professionally trained by teachers. Various leisure activities, cultural projects, sports and a library offer meaningful employment.
