Dennis winds up babysitting a little boy who is a guest of the Wilsons after his father and Mr. Wilson mistakenly both cancel their respective sitters.
Mr. Wilson has a bunch of starlings in his tree and wants to get rid of them. Dennis eventually gets rid of the starlings by putting liver in Mr. Wilson's tree which attracts a lot of cats.
The Driscolls are new neighbors, but problems arise as their phone is on a shared line with the Mitchells. Henry gets angry at Mr. Driscoll for monopolizing the line, not realizing that Dennis and his friends actually were the ones using it, and furthermore that Mr. Driscoll is a valued client of Henry's company.
After hearing that the city is tearing down Mr. Dorfman's "Postman's Rest" bench in favor of a parking lot, Dennis and Tommy offer him use of their private bench they plan to build.
Dennis has nobody to play with after Joey goes home. Since nobody can drive him, he decides to walk to his grandfather's house but is stopped by the police. At the police station, he refuses to tell his name, is given ice cream, and causes further havoc including putting cement in Mr. Wilson's bowling ball and accidentally handcuffing an officer.
Dennis sells Valentine's Day cards in July to by swim fins, which end up causing a run on Valentine's day cards around the entire neighborhood.
Mr. Wilson gets a visit from his former boss who offers him his job back in Pittsburgh. When Dennis thinks Mr. Wilson is moving to Pittsburgh, he runs away from home.
Mr. Wilson's Niece is getting married and asks Dennis to be the ring bearer.
Mr. Wilson gives Dennis an old radio set that he mistakenly bid for at an auction. However, When Dennis finds money in his radio set, Mr. Wilson gets excited. So him and Mitchell put in add in the paper hoping the real owner isn't around to claim it.
Dennis gets what he thinks is a hamster which turns out to be a gopher that escapes from his cage and almost ruins Mr. Wilson's yard.
Mr. Wilson has a stock certificate worth $500. He hides it in his Phone book, however when Dennis brings him in his new phone book Mr. Wilson goes crazy and ends up going to the warehouse where all the old phonebooks are taken to look for his old phone book because he thinks the stock is still in it.
Dennis tries to take care of his sick mother while his father is out of town.
Dennis starts a rock collection and ends up finding what he thinks is real gold on Mr. Wilson's lot.
Mr. Wilson tricks Henry out of playing golf so that he'll spend more time with Dennis, and Dennis won't bother Mr. Wilson. Meanwhile, Dennis and Tommy try to deal with a hole Dennis accidentally put in the fish tank.
Dennis wants to help out for Paint-up, Clean-up week. So Mr. Wilson gives Dennis a bucket of red paint to paint his wagon with. Dennis however also decides to paint the street curve by Mr. Wilson's house and Mr. Wilson gets blamed for it.

Now they are in a real mess because Mr. Wilson has something very important locked in the safe. So Mr. Wilson tries everything including trying to hypnotize Dennis so he can remember the combination. He ends up hypnotizing himself and remembers the combination at last.
Mr. Wilson and Henry both invest in a house that is known to be a haunted house.
Dennis' school is putting on a play which Mr. Wilson ends up being in (not by choice) because him and Tommy (who is also in the play) get handcuffed together before the play starts.
Mr. Finch is having a contest that when the fifty-thousandth customer walks in his store they will win 5 minutes of free shopping of which Mr. Wilson is determined to be the one who wins.
Mr. Wilson coaches Dennis' Pee Wee League baseball team because Dennis' dad (who originally was the coach) got sick.

So, she and Alice start a scheme of their own by making lucky things happen to Dennis all day. Mr. Wilson soon starts to believe that the coin was lucky after all and is sorry he ever let it go. He then realizes that it was all a charade to teach him a lesson.
Dennis, Henry and Mr. Wilson go out in the woods and cut down a big Christmas tree which ends up getting almost destroyed by the time they get it home.

Dennis gets a job for a day delivering Circulars for Mrs. Elkins. But, When he swaps territories with another kid, he gets blamed for throwing the circulars in a trash can.
Dennis and the children take over Judge Mcconnell's court for a day for children's day in court.

Mr. Spivey and Dennis get off on the wrong foot at first However, Johnny Brady takes note of that and because he wants to be on the pitcher on the school baseball team. So, he sets Dennis up by drawling a picture on the back of his paper making fun Mr. Spivey's height. When Mr. Spivey finds it he naturally assumes Dennis is the one that drew it so he punishes Dennis by kicking him off the baseball team and keeping him after school. As the news travels Mr. Wilson, Mr. Quigley and Mr. Finch all go to the school a few minutes apart and talk to Mr. Spivey each claiming to be Henry Mitchell to stand up for Dennis. Mr. Spivey gets confused but soon realizes he misjudged Dennis and ends up apologizing and putting Dennis back on the school baseball team.
Mr. Wilson gets a chimpanzee from the San Diego zoo which causes chaos at the Motel that the Wilsons and the Mitchells are staying at.
Mr. Wilson's nephew visits him and gives Mr. Wilson and Dennis a ride in his navy truck and then Mr. wilson and Dennis get trapped on the navy base.
Henry is thinking of getting a new job which takes place neer the Asian river. Dennis does what he can to prevent it including running away from home.
Mr. Wilson hangs out and plays with Dennis and his friends the whole day to gather information for a magazine article of what young children do in this day and age.
Mr. Wilson is doing a column for the newspaper that he thinks will have every single women in town happily Married. However, it ends up getting Sgt. Mooney in a love triangle with Miss Cathcart and Miss Tarbell.
Dennis visits a hermit out in the woods, Mr. Wilson thinks that he fought in the civil war, so he tries to get his life story.
Mr. Wilson has written a book on his Uncle Ned's life for his publisher. Uncle Ned however does not want the book to be published So Mr. Wilson goes up to Uncle Ned's house to try and reason with him. The only thing is that Uncle ned has gone down to Mr. Wilson's house to talk with him as well. Now it is up to Dennis to try and keep Uncle Ned from meeting the publisher until Mr. Wilson can return home again.
Dennis' School has a contest that any student who collects the most stamps wins a trip to Cape Canaveral and meet an Astronaut. Unfortunately, Dennis comes down with the chicken pox right when he is about to win.
Mr. Wilson tells Dennis he isn't feeling well to get Dennis to leave him alone and then Dennis tells the whole neighborhood, So they all think that Mr. Wilson is very sick.
Dennis and his friends do an indian rain dance to try to get Henry out of playing golf with his boss.

Dennis sees baby booties knitted for Mr. Wilson's golf clubs and he thinks that the Wilson's are having a baby, So he goes around and tells the whole neighborhood.
Mr. Wilson enters a contest that requires having children, so he passes Dennis and his friends off as his kids.
Dennis accidentally ties an important note that belongs to Mr. Wilson on a pigeon, so Mr. Wilson, Henry, Tommy and Dennis go to where the pigeons roost at night at a spooky house to try and get the note back and end up in the middle of a collage fraternity initiation meant for new fraternity members. After a bunch of twists and turns they find the pigeon with the note tied on it.
Mr. Wilson becomes a cat catcher for the police department to try and enforce a cat leash law.
Dennis stays at the Wilson's house overnight while his parents are out of town which turns out to be a long night for everyone with different incidents.
Dennis and his friends decide to play Robin Hood and help Mr. Wilson(big John) when he is in trouble, only Dennis and his friends end up making things worse for Mr. Wilson.
Mr. Wilson disapproves of the way Dennis' school operates, So he writes his opinion to the newspaper and spends a day at school to observe.
Mr. Wilson attempts to dye his hair in order to look younger for an actress he is interviewing for her life story. However, the dye made his hair look worse and so he cons Henry into taking his place which end in a bunch of tangled webs.
Mr. Wilson takes in a stray dog he believes is worth a 100 dollar reward.
Dennis and his friends start up a laundry business and clean Mr. Wilson's tuxedo, only Dennis gets Mr. Wilson's tuxedo mixed up with other peoples.
Mr. Wilson is planning to take Mrs. Wilson to Hawaii. But when Mr. Wilson has the plane tickets mailed to the Mitchell's, Alice thinks Henry is taking her to Hawaii.
Dennis has what he thinks is a lucky rabbit's foot, Mr. Wilson tricks Dennis into letting him borrow it because he thinks it will bring him good luck.
Mr. Wilson has a mockingbird in his yard which is keeping him awake every night, So he takes the birds nest out of the tree.
When Dennis takes his comic books over to show Mr. Wilson, Mr. Wilson writes an important phone number on one of the comics, So when Dennis leaves and takes his comic books Mr. Wilson spends all day looking for the comic book he wrote the phone number on.
Dennis wants to be a grown man for a day while his dad is out of town, So all day he does what he thinks his dad normally does.
When Mr. Wilson's Aunt Emma pays a visit she takes an instant liking to Dennis, causing Mr. Wilson to fear she will make Dennis her heir.
In this crossover episode, we learn that the Stones live in the same hometown as Dennis the Menace. Neighbor Dennis (the Menace) Mitchell offers to help Donna redecorate the Stone house and ends up making things even worse.
