De 8-jarige ondeugende Bink gaat een weekend logeren bij zijn opa. Wat begint als een onschuldig uitje, verandert al snel in een magisch avontuur als blijkt dat opa het kasteel van Sinterklaas onderhoudt. Bink ontdekt dat hij voorbestemd is om ooit de sleutelbewaarder van het kasteel te worden, maar alleen als hij zijn streken achter zich kan laten.
