Sami has on sexy lingerie to entice Austin. Mike does tests on Marlena as she has anaemia. Kristen rushes out of the room and tells John the lights went out, the room turned icy cold. In addition, there was a foul smell. It was as though there was an evil presence in the room. Later Marlena needs a blood transfusion. Stefano make his way into her room and writes on her chart "eyes sometime appear yellow". Carrie rushes to tell Sami and Austin about Marlena. Sami thinks Marlena is faking it. The transfusion doesn't work and Marlena's red blood cell count is very low. Sami goes in to see her mother, thinking this will earn her more points with Austin.
