Jennifer confronts Daniel about why she found the business proposal she gave to him in the trash, after consideration says he will look at it. Kristen is approached by a mugger, Brady intervenes to help but ends up getting hurt in the process. Eric finds Nicole and brings her to the church to give her some advice. John tells Marlena he had reasons for stepping down from the church board and tells her Sami isn't working for Kristen anymore. Abigail tells Chad that Melanie is going to be staying in Europe and won't be returning to Salem. Marlena deletes a message from Kristen unaware it's about Brady.
