Der ganz normale Alltag hält Familienvater Max Miller ganz schön auf Trab: Als Journalist hat er einen erfüllenden Job, mit seiner reizenden Frau Paola eine liebende Ehefrau, und mit dem fünfjährigen Max einen aufgeweckten Sohn. Doch es nicht leicht, nicht nur im Job seinen Mann zu stehen, sondern als gleichberechtigter Vater auch genug Zeit für die familiären Pflichten aufzubringen - die er nicht allein seiner Frau überlassen möchte.
