川俣はロシアの特殊作戦部隊に堕ちた精神病の兵士です。 川俣がこの秘密の科学研究機関のモルモットになったのはこの時でした。 ロシア人は、軍拡競争で米国に先んじていることを確認したいと考えており、この組織を使用して、考えられるあらゆる種類の武器で武装した機動戦闘服を開発しました。 プロジェクトに在籍中、川俣は不謹慎な慣行で日本から追い出されたねじれた科学者の松崎に会った。 松崎はコンバットスーツプロジェクトのリードエンジニアになり、川俣の思考の衝動を制御機構にコード化したので、彼だけが歩行兵器を操作することができます。 しかし、共産主義ロシアが崩壊したとき、川俣と松崎は装甲の戦闘服を盗み、それを日本に忍び込ませた。
