خلاصه سریال دربندون درباره دو دوست به نام‌های داود و منوچهر است که در دهه 50 خورشیدی به شهری عجیب و غریب تبعید می‌شود. داود شخصیتی جدی دارد و سعی می‌کند هرطور شده خود و دوستش را از این مهلکه نجات دهد اما برعکس او منوچهر دائما در حال خرابکاری و بدتر کردن اوضاع است.
