The story is set around the lives and antics of two young single mothers Ashley (Being Human’s Lenora Chrichlow) and Faye (Ty Glaser) living in a housing association flat in the well to do area of Clifton in Bristol, and claiming benefits whilst at the same time working in various jobs. These two well meaning “Dappers” only want the best for their little girls and strive to make sure they never go without. The mums are also dreamers and wannabe entrepreneurs hoping to be rich someday with their business Woofity’s Day Care for Cared for Dogs, which takes a tumble when a pug they are looking after escapes.
