In the first edition, Daniel and Majella travel to Anne's B&B in Tulsk, Co Roscommon, where they meet the vivacious owner Anne Sheerin before setting off to Moy River B&B in Cloonacool, Co Sligo, which is run by Pat and Rita McCarrick.

The O'Donnells visit Inch House in Thurles, Co. Tipperary, which is run by the Egan family, and enjoy the local country music festival - where they meet Nathan Carter. The next leg of the trip sees Daniel and Majella head to Kilkenny to stay at Celtic House with Angela and John Byrne, where they are treated to a performance by the landlady's choir.
The O'Donnells head to Enniskerry, Co Wicklow, to stay with Yvonne Rowe in Coolakay House, and take part in a tractor race across a local farm. They then travel to Carlingford, Co Louth, to spend the night at Shalom B&B, and owners Kevin and Jackie Woods take Daniel and Majella on a leprechaun tour through the Mourne Mountains.
The O'Donnells head to Enniskillen in Co Fermanagh to stay at Joan and Tom Foster's Willowbank House, enjoying a scenic kayak trip around the town before travelling to their final destination in Newtownabbey, Co Antrim. There they stay with Tim and Ethy Clifford and attend a rock 'n' roll-themed house party. Last in the series.
