The television series Dahej Daasi is a social drama set in a Rajasthani village, following a young woman named Chunari who is trapped by the oppressive and archaic practice of the daasi pratha. The plot unfolds as Chunari fights for her dignity and freedom against the powerful and villainous matriarch of the local elite family, Vindhya Devi. Amidst her misfortune, Chunari meets Jay, Vindhya Devi's younger son, who is progressive and opposes his family's outdated traditions.
