In the flashback, Iccryst have created a Crystal World with so many Crystal Monsters of different kinds and unique abilities. As Iccryst already created the Crystal World, he accidentally created an egg where Devil J is born, and holds many of his demons in the underworld while Iccryst holds his angles in the overworld.
