And to celebrate Mondello Parks 50th year John tests his driving skills in time trial against former Rally driver Rosemary Smith.
This week John and his Ford Cortina head out through the towns on the old Dublin to Galway road. Along the way he takes on Mick Foster of Foster & Allen at a game of handball, visits a de-commissioned nuclear bunker in the heart of Athlone, sings a duet with rugby hero Mick Galway and revisits the days Johnny Cash, Status Quo, Meatloaf & Michael Jackson came to Moate!
John Creedon wraps up his informative road trip around Ireland as he heads along the Dublin to Belfast route. However, this won't be a speedy shoot up the motorway. John is going old school, as he takes the journey that existed before the M1 was built. Along the way he takes in a soccer match between Cork City and Dundalk, meets a Dothraki slave master and hears the story of Kate The Navvy in Drogheda.
