It’s Episode 2 of Collider Live! Join host Kristian Harloff and his crew of Collider personalities including Josh Macuga and Brett Sheridan as well as the already very tired Reilly, Cobbster, Cody and Brian - with a host more as they discuss rumors of Tom Cruise playing Hal Jordan in Green Lantern, plus looks at some ridiculous videos Kristian sends Reilly late at night and wanting to add last minute… It’s that kind of show! Plus, Brett goes to the movies during the work day AND a special interview with director and Rogue One writer Chris Weitz as he talks about his latest movie Operation Finale starring Oscar Isaac and Ben Kingsley!
Welcome to Episode 3 of Collider Live! Hang out with host Kristian Harloff and his motley crew of Collider folks including Roxy Striar, Mark Reilly, Josh Macuga, Brett Sheridan, Cobbster, Cody and Brian! They’ll discuss Brendan Fraser joining the ‘Doom Patrol’ DC Universe TV Series and more news, talk about relationships with special guests John Rocha and Jeff Sneider, and have Brett annoy the Collider office (again? It’s only his third day on the show!)
It’s Week 2 of Collider Live with host Kristian Harloff, joined today by Mark Ellis, Roxy Striar, Mark Reilly, Brett Sheridan, Cobbster, Cody, Beardo, RB3 and Alex! Catch up on the latest movie and TV news with us, as Dennis Tzeng joins to talk about Crazy Rich Asians achieving another crazy rich weekend, and The Big Bang Theory ending. Also, Brett checks in with Frank (who will probably bang on the other side of the wall at some point today) and Fernandez, we discuss Logan Paul and other morons, take phone calls, and has Kristian been actively avoiding Cobbster this week?
Midway through Week 2 of Collider Live, and we’re already talking farts. It’s a great time to be had with host Kristian Harloff, with Sinead DeVries, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Brett Sheridan, Mark Ellis, Cobbster, Cody, Beardo, and Alex waiting for their time to talk in between Kristian’s fart noises. Today we also catch up with some movie news like Dominic Monaghan in Star Wars Episode IX, Edgar Wright for Bond 25?, Brett goes out on the Streetz, and figure out which movies Dorian hasn’t seen in his recently hatched life (wait, didn’t he say he’s 38, though?)
Week 2 of Collider Live wraps up today with host Kristian Harloff with the usual gang of Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cobbster, Cody, Beardo and Alex! Today, Jared Haibon (of Bachelor fame) hangs out and catches up on movie news, like Dwayne Johnson playing Kamehameha in The King and Alec Baldwin as Thomas Wayne in the Joker movie, and talk about their favorite summer movies.
It’s our James Bond (#007) show and we’re back from a relaxing Labor Day weekend. But it’s time to get back into the swing of things as host Kristian Harloff welcomes in Roxy Striar, Mark Ellis, Josh Macuga, Cobbster, Cody, Beardo and Alex! We talk the latest movie news, Nike, In-N-Out, and Finstock returns/barges in to recount some of his recent European adventures, and we try to parse out what’s true in his stories…
Host Kristian Harloff welcomes in Dorina Arellano to the table for the first time, along with Josh Macuga and Brett Sheridan, with Cobbster, Cody, Beardo and Alex laughing too loud in the next room over. Today, Brett annoys the office and gets on more shit lists, Frank shares his own shit list, we talk our favorite composers, and it’s the return of the classic Schmoes Know staple audio guessing contest, The Game!
Fresh off an incredible Schmoedown Live event, host Kristian Harloff is back for week 4 of Collider Live with Roxy Striar, Clarke Wolfe, Mark Reilly, Josh Macuga, Cobbster, Cody, Beardo and Alex! Cue up the Macuga soundbites, Beardo, it’s gonna be a scary good time today!
Host Kristian Harloff saw The Predator last night, so he has some choice words for it… Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Brett Sheridan, Mark Reilly, Cobbster, Cody, Beardo and Alex round out the crew to pitch Bad Boys 3, and talk the latest in movie news. We’ll throw around some of our worst date stories, and see how entertaining Brett’s Solo: A Star Wars Story red carpet experience went last week. #Sheridan4SesameStreet! *A Dedication to Brian Cachia from Kevin Harloff* *Jon Schnepp art by Joe Heinen.* *Garbage People art by Bryan Ward.*
We’re back to cap off the week, after host Kristian Harloff and Josh Macuga saw The Nun after yesterday’s show, so we definitely got some new soundbites for Beardo to use. Roxy Striar, Mark Reilly, Cobbster, Cody and Alex also join for the day, as the group talks Henry Cavill leaving the DCEU and other movie news. We also discuss how a Masters of the Universe movie should theoretically work and special guest Dorian’s Mom joins us for an enlightening conversation about her son.
Today on Show #12 of Collider Live, host Kristian Harloff leads the discussion on the latest movie news like Venom being rated PG-13 and the first images of Joaquin Phoenix as The Joker (and is probably still wondering why Lon/JTE/Cobbster/Alex liked The Predator), talk wrestling with Ryan Satin and John Rocha (not garbage people), and take phone calls. Unlike a certain turd in the wind, this show is not PG-13, especially not when Josh Macuga, Roxy Striar, Mark Reilly, Cobbster, Cody, Beardo and Alex join.
Holy crap! Did you see that Captain Marvel trailer?! Host Kristian Harloff is joined by Roxy Striar, Mark Reilly, Josh Macuga, Cobbster, Cody, Beardo and Alex to talk about the trailer, break down another celeb v celeb (Dawn of Justice) fight between Tom Arnold and Mark Burnett, Roxy gets excited about having a picture in the studio (and admits that she would eat people) and take more phone calls!
It’s a crowded studio today, with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Mark Ellis, Mark Reilly, Josh Macuga, and Brett Sheridan, with Cobbster, Cody, Beardo and Alex in the production cave! We welcome in special guest Steve Byrne to talk about his movie The Opening Act and documentary The Amazing Jonathan, discuss the potential MCU TV shows on the Disney streaming service, and Brett interrupts Heroes to ask some questions… There’s sure to be madness today (and apparently it’s International Talk Like a Pirate Day, and Frank is dressed in appropriate garb), so let’s have some fun!
It’s Week #6 for Collider Live, and we kick it off with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Mark Reilly, Cobbster, Cody, Beardo and Alex! As usual, we talk movie news, (in an unrelated story, I had to escape a chaotic train situation because of a creepy clown; anyone know anything about that?), discuss underrated Marvel Movies (why does Doctor Strange get so much hate?!?!?!), and special guests Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon from The Bachelor come to the studio to talk relationships and dish advice.
It’s sure to be a wild day when special guests Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero (The Room, Best F(r)iends) join Roxy Striar, Mark Ellis, Mark Reilly and Josh Macuga, with Cobbster, Cody, Beardo and Alex in the production asylum. We are Harloff-less today, so it looks like a shoot the shit kinda day, as we talk the latest in movie news, Gritty the mascot, how to do the comedy, and Wiseau and Sestero talk about their latest movie, Best F(r)iends. Mayhem and Sue’s.
Time to get back in the ring and wrap up the week with a stellar show, as we talk the Creed II trailer and other movie news, and welcome in special guest Romany Malco to talk about his career and new movie, Night School. Host Kristian Harloff will attempt to take his show back after the chaos that “and Sue’s” yesterday, with Roxy Striar, Mark Ellis, Mark Reilly, Josh Macuga, Cobbster, Cody, Beardo, and Alex hanging out too! Yes, Roxy, you can tag along.
Wake up, September has ended, and it’s time to celebrate Halloween season with… Star Wars? Join the birthday boy Kristian Harloff, as he hosts with Roxy Striar, Mark Reilly, Brett Sheridan, Mark Ellis, Cobbster, Cody, Beardo and Alex along for the ride. We’re talking Kathleen Kennedy and the Fox Marvel schedule shakeups today, and talk about diversity in the online space.
Venom premiered last night, and apparently it’s the greatest superhero movie ever? I don’t think anyone said that, but Roxy saw it last night and it comes out in just a few days, so we’ll see if those 30ish minutes that were cut out were needed. Host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cobbster, Cody, Beardo, and Alex talk that and other movie news, like Ansel Elgort playing Tony in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story (PS Alex is available to play one of the Sharks, just fyi…), and will we actually get to play our new version of The Game today?
On Wednesdays, we wear pink (or at least some of us remembered to). We got another special guest joining us today, as Michael Ironside (Total Recall, Superman: The Animated Series) comes to promote his new movie, Knuckleball. Before that, the crew, including host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cobbster, Cody, Beardo and Alex, talk more of the latest movie news, review Venom, talk about how close Man of Steel 2 was to happening, and find out Kristian Harloff is Danish?
It’s show #21, so it can officially drink now, I guess? Celebrate with your favorite host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Mark Reilly, Cobbster, Cody, Beardo, and Alex! Take shots of LaCroix (which apparently kills cockroaches?!?!), talk some movie news (Venom made $80 million turds in the wind?!?!), and get your Twitter questions and calls in today as we party on.
Today we’re joined by wizard/Captain/Grand Inquisitor Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter series, The Patriot) and India Eisley (Underworld: Awakening, The Secret Life of the American Teenager) to talk about their new film, Look Away. Host Kristian Harloff will lead discussion later on in the day, after we talk about the latest entertainment news. Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cobbster, Cody, Beardo, and Alex join in on the fun as usual for what should be an incredible time!
Host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cobbster, Cody, Beardo, and Alex welcome in Dante Basco (Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Debut [for all the Filipinos out there!]) to celebrate the 4K re-release of the 1991 classic movie, Hook! Before he comes in studio, we’ll be talking James Gunn potentially writing/directing Suicide Squad 2, and more!
Will host Kristian Harloff talk about the Schmoedown today? Has Roxy Striar faced the wrath of squirrels yet? Does Mark Ellis have a show on October 26th? Did Mark Reilly bring Kal today? Will Cobbster see the new Halloween tonight? How many Fun Facts will Cody come up with today? Is Beardo monotone and joyless? Will Alex survive the day after accidentally taking drowsy allergy medicine this morning? Find out the answers to these questions today, as we discuss clickbait (later in the show…)!
Cue the Halloween theme song, Beardo, because we’re talking the new film in the franchise, which some of us saw last night and we’ll be giving our thoughts on it. We also welcome in David Dastmalchian (The Dark Knight, Prisoners) to talk about his role in this year’s Ant-Man and the Wasp! Join host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cobbster, Cody, Beardo, and Alex for a spoopy time today!
There’s about 10 weeks left in 2018, and still plenty of movies left to see! Host Kristian Harloff and the gang talk what else they’re excited about, and welcome in special guest Jonny Loquasto to talk about his new comedy special. In other news, Brett Sheridan is back *cue air horns* and jumps right into his usual shenanigans, so join Kristian, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Brett, Cobbster, Cody, Beardo, and Alex and let’s have some fun!
It’s time to catch up with the crü and welcome in special guest Natalie Eva Marie into the studio to talk about her career and more! Host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Mark Reilly, Cobbster, Cody, Beardo, and Alex also discuss the latest movie news as we prepare for a spoopy Halloween season.
We welcome in a few guests today, as Matt Serra calls in to talk about his career and the upcoming William Bibbiani vs John Rocha Schmoedown Championship Match! The Beast and The Outlaw also join the table to begin the trash talking for what will surely be a bloodbath of a match. Come hang out with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cobbster, Cody, Beardo, and Alex as we talk movie news and maybe give early reactions to Bohemian Rhapsody?
We wrap up the week with even more special guests, as we welcome actor John Noble (The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King; Fringe) and boxer Wladimir Klitschko (World Heavyweight Champion in boxing, author of Challenge Management) into the studio to talk about their respective careers! They join host Kristian Harloff, Dorina Arellano, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Dennis Tzeng, Marc Fernandez, Cobbster, Cody, Beardo, and Alex today!
It’s a beautiful Motivational Monday, so create your own sunshine today with special guest Adi Shankar as he joins us in the studio to talk season 2 of Castlevania! Host Kristian Harloff and the usual gang of Roxy Striar, Mark Reilly, Cobbster, Cody, Beardo, and Alex also talk about the unfortunate shutting down of FilmStruck and other movie news. You will never have this day again so make it count!
It’s Winnie the Pooh’s favorite day - Taco Tuesday! Special guest voice actor Jim Cummings (Winnie the Pooh, Aladdin) joins the table to discuss his latest film, Christopher Robin! The Kristian-less panel (probably getting tacos all day today) is led by Mark Ellis, with Roxy Striar, Mark Reilly, Cobbster, Cody, Beardo, and Alex all chillin’ like Pooh (except we have pants on) and talking the details from the scrapped Boba Fett movie. So lettuce feast on juicy movie news and meat Pooh on this wonderful Honey Tuesday!
Zoinks! It’s a special Halloween Episode where we welcome in Matthew Lillard, the star of one of the scariest movies to ever exist - Scooby-Doo! (He was also in Scream, but that’s not as scary.) Lillard is here to promote his new Dungeons & Dragons line, which you can get here (https://www.beadleandgrimms.com)! Speaking of scary, Kristian might be a little too scared to watch The Thing? We’ll find out today if he ever will watch it, and as usual, talk some movie news with the spookiest of spoopies host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cobbster, Cody, Beardo, and Alex on this Wacky Wednesday!

We’re a week into 2019 and it’s time for our second Collider Live show of the new year!!! We recap the #GoldenGlobes, talk about The Batman news, shoot the shoot and hang as per usual on a rainy Motivational Monday with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Mark Reilly, Mark Ellis, Cobbster, Cody, and Alex. Because without rain, nothing grows; learn to embrace the storms of your life, you pluviophiles.
Make Sure You Check Out #GlassMovie in theaters January 18th! Are You a Superhero or a Villain? Take the quiz at http://glassheroorvillain.com! On this episode of Collider Live, presented by GLASS, it’s a sunny Tuesday in Burbank, so join your faves Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Mark Ellis, Mark Reilly, Josh Macuga, Brett Sheridan, Cobbster, Cody, and Alex today! We’re talking hero Captain Marvel’s new trailer, other movie news, and producer Todd Garner (Tag [shoutout to Beardo!], Paul Blart: Mall Cop) hops on the table later on in the show.
On this episode of Collider Live, presented by GLASS, it’s a Wacky Wednesday as Josh Macuga takes the Hero or Villain quiz and we get up to our usual shenanigans. Join the gang with Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Brett Sheridan, Ken Napzok, Cobbster, Cody, and Alex! We also talk what we’re more excited for: Avengers: Endgame or Star Wars: Episode IX and more.
What would you do with a billion dollars? Wouldn’t be of much use underwater, even though #Aquaman made that much in the box office. (Maybe that’s how much Black Manta was given by the Orm-Master Patrick Wilson? I mean, how is Manta gonna use that Atlantean gold on the surface?! ANSWER ME!) Host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Mark Reilly, Josh Macuga, Tom “Bob Finstock” Dagnino, Cobbster, Cody, and Alex are back for another week of nonsense. Now, what’s the over/under on how many creepy celeb photos Kristian took of people at the #CriticsChoiceAwards last night?
Another day, another superhero trailer! Join the Collider Live gang today even if you’re Far From Home *WINK WINK* as we discuss the #SpiderManFarFromHome trailer, Captain Marvel on track for a $140 million+ opening weekend, and more news. We also welcome in special guests Harley Quinn-Smith (Tusk, Yoga Hosers) & Brendan Myer (The Guest, The OA) to talk about their new film, All These Small Moments. Wrestling legend Booker T also calls into the show, and Perri Nemiroff jumps in to talk about her Critics Choice Awards experience on this super busy day on Collider Live with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cobbster, Cody, and Alex!
Who you gonna call? Collider Live! We’ll be taking calls and Twitter questions in our 58th sequel today and talk about whatever it is that’s going on with #Ghostbusters, as well as other goings on. Special guest Tom Everett Scott (That Thing You Do, Southland) also joins the gang to talk about his new movie, I Hate Kids! It’s our last show of the week (and last until Tuesday, the 22nd), so let’s get wacky this Wednesday with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Brett Sheridan, Cobbster, Cody, and Alex!
It's episode 60 of Collider Live and (most) of the gang is all here to discuss the 2018 Oscar Nominations. What movies and nominations surprised you? What didn't? And what the hell happened to the nomination for Won't You Be My Neighbor? The crew will look at all the nominations and snubs and discuss on the show as only they know how. Special guest Sera Gamble (Showrunner of You and The Magicians) also joins the gang to talk about her Netflix series 'You.' After a day off, the crew is back, with special guest host Dorina Arellano also joining in the fun, so let’s get wacky this Tuesday with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Dorina Arellano, Brett Sheridan, Cobbster and Cody!
It's episode 61 of Collider Live and the whole gang is here. How many people liked Bumblebee? How many want a sequel? Raise your hands... Well, you got it. Deadline reports that a sequel is in development, and the Live crew asks: do we need it? The first movie aside from the series didn't do too well domestically... But internationally? That's another story. Plus, the entire crew is back so there's sure to be a discussion on that thing that happened that no one wants to talk about and no one mentioned yesterday so we'll see how that goes. Let’s start Collider Live this Wednesday with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly Brett Sheridan, Cobbster and Cody! There might even be a Mark Ellis sighting....
It's episode 62 of Collider Live and the gang is back from New York after Schmoedown Live! We'll discuss some of the highlights as well as the news that Aquaman 2 is officially in development with the caveat that James Wan will not sign on until a good script lands on his desk. Imagine that! Waiting for an actual script before you shoot the movie. Plus, the crew will discuss some other news, Schmoedown Live, and a caller close to Kristian will be making her return on Live with a call in to the show. Let’s start Collider Live this Monday with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Mark Reilly, Cobbster and Cody!
Episode 63 of Collider Live is here and it's Taco Tuesday! Well, minus the tacos. The gang's all here on this fine Tuesday to discuss all things movies, cats, and definitely not tacos. We also decide to watch some cat videos because those will always cheer you up, particularly when you can't have tacos. As I'm writing this description, all I can think about is tacos. Maybe we should have some delivered to the studio. That requires making a phone call, though, and no one wants to do that. Damn. #Tacos.
It's Wednesday and Collider Live is back, and so is Zack Snyder in the director chair. We talk that and other movie news, as well as welcome back Alex (don’t forget the Ñ) to the show because everyone missed him and his descriptions and most importantly timestamps!!! But even more than most importantly, special guest Benedict Wong (Doctor Strange, Annihilation) joins us to talk his new show, Deadly Class!
The Superb Owl was quite a hoot last night, and so were those trailers! Today on Collider Live, we talk yesterday’s #SuperBowl/big yawn of a game, the various trailers we got including #AvengersEndgame and Hobbs & Shaw and Us, the new Cloverfield movie that dropped on Netflix (oh, that was last year?), and take some Twitter questions and phone calls in our first show of February. Come hang with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Mark Reilly, Brett Sheridan, Josh Macuga, Cody, and Alex this morning!
It’s one hell of a big day today, because legendary action movie star Jean Claude Van Damme (Sudden Death, Kickboxer) is joining us in studio! We talk with the hard target himself about his career as an unexpendable street fighting action movie staple, his new movie We Die Young, and more with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Brett Sheridan, Cody, and Alex septuple teaming! Timecop!
It’s a Marvel-ous day for movie news and the usual nonsense and shenanigans here with the Collider Live crew! Host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Brett Sheridan, Mark Reilly, Cody, and Alex catch up on all the news that we missed yesterday (I wonder why…) including Deadpool still being rated R under Disney, shoot the shit, probably talk about farts at some point, Macuga will say “correct” at least twice, and have some fun on the last show of the week. (HA! You fell for that didn’t you? We’re on 5 days a week boiiiiiiiiiiiiii)
Surprise! It's Thursday and we're still doing a show! Today, we're talking about more of the Disney/Fox stuff because the internet movie space hasn't talked about that enough already! There's also some more news and nonsense to get to in the meantime. On a related note, News and Nonsense is playing at The Wiltern this Friday. Get your tickets now! That was a bad joke. I'm sorry. Alex is out today so I'm in charge of the descriptions. Please don't murder us if there aren't any timecodes.
It’s our first Friday show of Collider Live and what better way to celebrate with this episode number? NICE! (What’s the over/under on how many Bill and Ted references are we getting today?) We’re catching up with more movie news, have some more nonsense, recap the madness this week, take Twitter questions and phone calls, and more today with host Kristian Harloff, Dorina Arellano, Josh Macuga, Brett Sheridan, John Rocha, Cody, and Alex!
We’re b-b-b-b-back for another lovely week of Collider Live! Hope you don’t fall for the clickbait, since we’ll be talking about that later on in the show so put that in your taco and eat it. Host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cobbster, and Alex (no headphone shenanigans from Cody today… NONE!) talk Will Smith as Genie in #Aladdin, Sight & Sound’s Jaye Williams calls in to talk about the Grammys (BUT HAS HE REVIEWED ALEX’S SONG?!), and take calls and Twitter questions from YOU.
Another day, another Oscar snafu. We’ll talk about that topic during the break. But for the rest of the show, host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody, and Alex shenan again on a tubular Tuesday, and talk the latest in movie news, get some updates on Willy Def (probably), generate more clickbait in some shape or form, and more.
Special guest Jay Baruchel (She’s Out Of My League, Goon, This is the End) is in the house today to talk about his new movie, How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World! We’ll be talking about his career, probably offer him some cookies, Kristian will definitely try to get him in the Schmoedown, and more with him today. Before we get to him later in the show (no clickbait here!), we’ll be talking news and/or nonsense with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Perri Nemiroff, new soon-to-be-papa Cody, and Alex! Grab your chicken and beer and hang out with your favorite Collider crew!
Happy Thursday, ladies and gents! On today's show of Collider Live, Finstock and Citizen join the show to talk about the notorious goldfish-winning show that has no doubt consumed your entire Twitter feed, "Little Bobby & the Juice". We also talk about Rian Johnson and his Star Wars trilogy because apparently people are still upset about The Last Jedi. I actually thought it was a really solid movie that moved the Star Wars story along nicely and....okay now I see a crowd of people slowly walking towards me....back to The Last Jedi. You see, most people are upset with the characterization of Luke but I thought it was a cool take on how our heroes can...okay now the crowd has become a mob and they're pulling out pitchforks....let me just get this one final say on The Last Jedi. I give it a solid B+ and consider it one of the better Star Wars movies OKAY NOW THE MOB IS BREAKING DOWN THE DOOR AND WANTS MY BLOOD. PLEASE SEND HELP. THERE'S A GOOD CHANCE THERE WON'T BE TIME CODES TODAY.
It’s Valentine’s morrow, and we hope you had a spicy night! Today, the studio is still warm (where’s Brett to fix the air circulation in here?!?!?!) and try to figure out how to print the damn rundown out without giving host Kristian Harloff accelerated macular degeneration with Dorina Arellano, Josh (Yosh Yosh Yosh) Macuga, John Rocha, Cody, and Alex. We also welcome in special guest Paige (WWE) and chat with her about her wrestling career, and the new movie about her life, Fighting With My Family. (I also read Time-Cody’s description yesterday and vote he should do it for the rest of the shows.)
Ah! I got scared from the headline of this show. Now that I’ve calmed down and composed myself, we can get on with the description. Host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Mark Ellis (who has some sort of announcement to make?! Is he leaving Movie Talk again?!?!?!), Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña are back for another week of nonsense, news, and mischief! We’re less than a week away from the #Oscars, and they’ve (thankfully) changed their stance again; we’ll also catch up on everyone’s goings on from the past few days and take Twitter questions and phone calls!
We’ve officially hit our 6 month anniversary and we’re gonna celebrate it like any new couple would - talking about #StarWars and the #ObiWan Disney+ series! Special and former guests Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon (The Bachelor in Paradise) join us to catch up on their goings on and give some more relationship advice! Hang out with host Kristian Harloff (who will be in eventually…), Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña as we talk about getting lost, Captain Marvel most likely, farts probably, and more today!
It's Thursday here at Collider Live! Or is it THORS-day? Because Chris Hemsworth? Get it? Anywho, today we're talking about that Hulk Hogan biopic that was announced yesterday, as well as going into other random bits of news and nonsense. Seriously, did you get the THORS-day joke? It's because the actor played Thor. Think about it. We also have Dave Mason calling into the show to talk Oscar betting! You can really bet on anything these days, just like how I betted on whether or not any of you would get the THORS-day joke. It's a bit of a gamble because you have to have had previous knowledge of Chris Hemsworth playing Thor to understand the joke. Anyway, we hope you enjoy the show! I'm sure it'll be a good one, just like my edgy THORS-day joke was a good one. Also, there won't be timecodes today. They'll be back tomorrow.
Cue some Rebecca Black, Cody! It’s Friday and the last show before the Oscars, and for (hopefully) the last time (it’s exhausting!!!), another scandal, this time with Kendrick Lamar saying that he’s Alright with not performing for All The Stars on Sunday. Damn. Noted rap connoisseurs Kristian Harloff, Dorina Arellano, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña talk that and the past week they’ve had today on a deuce deuce deuce day!
It was a special Hollywood night last night, with the Oscars having absolutely ZERO NONE ZILCH controversy as everyone expected, and actually didn’t go too badly without a host! Collider Live will always have host Kristian Harloff to lean on, along with Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña and we’re, of course, talking last night’s Oscar ceremony, Dave Mason from BetOnline calls in to see if Kristian won some moolah, and more!
It's Taco Tuesday! Do we have tacos anywhere today? No! But I'm not one to ignore a good use of alliteration! Today on the show, we're dissecting the new DETECTIVE PIKACHU trailer frame by frame and....oh we're not doing that? Okay, fine. Instead, we'll talk about the ratings for the Oscars going up and are you sure you don't want to do the Pikachu thing? I mean, there are so many good Easter eggs in there! Alright, moving on. Matt Sera calls in again to talk about Umbrella Academy(?), and maybe we'll go off on another Rocky V tangent and GUYS SERIOUSLY THERE WAS A FREAKING MEWTWO IN THE TRAILER! HOW ARE WE NOT TALKING ABOUT THIS???
You have no idea what might happen in this off the wall show that is a mix of the old Schmoes Know show with a dash of Collider, mixed with nonsense, shaken with comedy and served weekdays live from Collider Studios.
It’s our last show of February (but not of the week!) and to celebrate, we’re talking about Pokémon! Wait, still no? I mean, Detective Pikachu has gotta definitely be better than #XMenDarkPhoenix, right? Look at him! He wears a hat! Anyways, time codes are back cuz Alex Marzoña is, and you can’t live without them. Also coming back and equally as important are host Kristian Harloff, Dorina Arellano, Mark Reilly, and Cody Hall to talk about stuff and things!
It’s the last day of the week, Fri—WAIT, CODY DON’T PLAY THE SONG. Ah shoot we’re canceled. Ahhhhh. Not before we welcome in Steve Rannazzisi (The League) to straighten out exactly how much host Kristian Harloff won in the Oscar pool, talk about the Ronda Rousey/Becky Lynch feud, discuss a little news in the movie world and the #Hellboy red band trailer, probably play a few fan songs, and more with Kristian, Dorina Arellano, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña! Let’s start off March on an awesome note this Friday — AHHHHH CODY NO WHY DID YOU HAVE TO PLAY THE SONGGGGGGG
It's Wednesday today and buckle up because it's ANOTHER day of Pokemon talk! Today we break down the big announcement of Sword and Shield and what it means for the Pokemon universe and....we're not talking about that? Are you sure? Okay. Well instead we'll talk about the MCU and those new Disney+ shows. We also welcome guest James Roday in studio!
Collider Live is BACK for another week of madness with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña! Special guest Jeff Dye (comedian) joins in later on the show, but only after we talk about another legendary director having a chicken with Netflix winning Oscars. Isn’t that a bit silly? A movie’s a movie! Could my chicken joke been any more lame? Let’s ask Mr. Dye for some comedy tips for Alex.
Be weary, young lads. Taco Tuesday is once again upon us. Hast thou prepared thineself for the glorious meal of $1 tacos? AND COLLIDER LIVE?! Boom! I hope Cody’s back today because switching was intimidating (but really fun)! Anyways, both Captain Marvels are in the news: we got a new trailer for Shazam!, as well as first reactions from Marvel’s Captain Marvel’s Captain Marvel’s Captain Marvel. Host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Mark Ellis, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, John Rocha, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña are here to do the thing!

Don’t be trolls!
It's Thursday, which means we're one step closer to Friday! On a related note, "One Step Closer" is a great Linkin Park song that really launched the band into the mainstream. What does that song have to do with today's show? Absolutely nothing! Today on Collider Live, there's supposed to be a new trailer for Cobra Kai season 2 so we're gonna talk about that, as well as some of the latest movie news!

We got an awesome day ahead of us, as we have actor Matthias Schoenaerts (The Danish Girl, Far From the Madding Crowd) joining us in studio to talk about his new movie, The Mustang! Also, can you believe Game of Thrones is gonna have short episodes in a short season?!?! This is outrageous! (Is it though?) Taco Tuesday is never short here at Collider Live (unless we want it to be, damn it! And I’m pretty sure that’s the exact same sentiment that the GoT creators have!) with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña!!!
It's a big Wednesday for all of us here for Collider Live, as we have Michael Jai White joining the show to talk Triple Threat! We'll also talk about random news stories from the world of movies, TV, sports, and wherever else we'd like. Funny things will be said. Stupid soundbites will be played. Fun will be had!
IT’S PI DAY PI DAY GOTTA GET DOWN ON #PIDAY 3.14159265359 BABYYYYYY! Today on Collider Live, we’re celebrating all types of math, geometry, the concept of infinite, group theory, and more with noted mathematicians host Kristian Harloff, Kate Mulligan, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña (who actually was a math major DID YOU KNOW THAT)! Acclaimed numerologist Matt Knost joins in on the fun, with Michelle Chapman calling in later in the show to talk about her new Showtime standup show, Funny Women of a Certain Age. Oh, and I guess we’re gonna talk about the #AvengersEndgame trailer, too.
Show #93 and we’re super lucky that Kate Mulligan wants to be back in the studio with this crew! Host Kristian Harloff, Kate, John Rocha, Mark Reilly, Jay Washington, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña are back for the last day of the week and talking that #AvengersEndgame poster controversy and a bunch of other nonsense as per yoozh today!!!
If you show a Gunn, it’s going to get fired later. Then get reloaded for the third round of Guardians. That’s how Chekhov’s Gun works, right? We’re back for another week of March Madness with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Brett Sheridan, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña! We’ll be talking that James Gunn return and its effect on Suicide Squad 2, catch up on our weekend happenings, and more today! Boom!
You’ve got friends in us crew cuz it’s CAHLIEDER LAIIIIIIIIVE! Coming in hot on a Tuesday morning, we’re talking that Toy Story 4 trailer, Bumblebee 2: Bumblebae, and more with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Dorina Arellano, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña! There’s going to be no awkward moments today! None!
Today we ask the really important questions like, is Kristian Harloff right about things? Like Benioff and Weiss making Old Republic movies? We’re talking that, give some first reactions to #Us, and have special guests Douglas Booth (Jupiter Ascending, Pride and Prejudice, and Zombies) and Iwan Rheon (Game of Thrones, Misfits) to discuss their new film, #TheDirt, a biopic about the band Mötley Crüe! Hang with our crüe today, with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña!
It's Thursday here at Collider Live and we're talking about the new John Wick: Chapter 3 trailer, as well as the Disney/Fox merger because it wouldn't be a week in the movie news space without somebody bringing that up at least once. We also have guest Matt Mercer coming in and Ken Napzok is guest hosting! Go pre-order his book if you haven't already! It's gonna be good! Also joining the show are Dorina, Brett (We think???), Macuga, Reilly, Cody, and not Alex. We'll try to keep track of timecodes. Sorry in advance! Please don't leave smartass comments about it!
Dad’s gone for the day so it’s time to partaaaaay if only for an hour! We’re talking the #GuardiansOfTheGalaxy3 potential release in 2022, talking the week that was in Collider Live, and preview/share our excitement for the Free-For-All Schmoedown Live is tomorrow. Come hang out with Mark Reilly, Dorina Arellano, John Rocha, Brett Sheridan, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña today!
We’re back from a crazy weekend, and for show number nine(ty) nine?! We’ll be recapping the Schmoedown Free-For-All III (no spoilers!), talking about Us and Jordan Peele making more box history, get a call from Stu, taking your calls/Facebook/Twitter questions, and welcoming back Steve Rannazzisi to the studio! Come hang out with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Brett Sheridan, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña (or are they doppelgängers…?) for our final double digit show!
WE HIT A HUNDRED BABYYYYYYYYYY! First off, thank you to all the fans who keep us going and coming back excited every day! We’re in the triple digits, and we got the OGs/usual gang of host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña to celebrate! We’ll be talking Steven Spielberg’s appearance at the Apple Keynote yesterday and welcoming in Tom Dagnino and Mike Sidisin of the worldwide phenomenon YouTube sensation Lil’ Bobby and the Juice! Here’s to 100+ more shows!
It’s another wacky Wednesday at the studio and we’re all totally on the same page about it and are equally excited for it! We also brought Dalmatians in celebration of our episode number. We’ll be talking #NewMutants coming out at some point in the future or something idk…, the Star Wars Episode 9 leaked poster, and taking calls and Twitter questions. Host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña are ready to rock and roll babyyyyyyy!
It's Thursday here at Collider Live and you know what that means! Well, it just means today's show happens to fall on a Thursday. Not everything's supposed to be a surprise. Life's full of disappointments. ANYWHO, on today's show, we're talking about some more Avengers: Endgame stuff because why not? We also have Marta Milans from Shazam coming into studio! We'll go into the news and whatnot and people will laugh at things and Cody will probably zoom in on somebody's face without them knowing. Fun times!
It’s been a particularly interesting week, and we’re wrapping it up with another full studio full of your favorite people! Later on in the show, we’ll be joined by The Karate Kid’s Martin Kove to talk about the upcoming Cobra Kai season 2! We’ll also be welcoming back in Jay Washington to put a nice neat friendly bow on yesterday’s Jordan Peele conversation. Host Kristian Harloff, Dorina Arellano, Josh Macuga, John Rocha, Brent Sheridan, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña are all here for the last show of March! Lezzzzzz go!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We’re totally NOT happy to be back for another week of fun and nonsense! We’re also NOT excited to have special guests Peter Serafinowicz (Shaun of the Dead, Guardians of the Galaxy) and Griffin Newman (Draft Day, Blank Check with Griffin and David podcast) join us to talk about #TheTick season 2! Host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Mark Reilly, Brett Sheridan, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña are here and SAD to start off April with such incredible guests! (April Fools! Totally got you with all that sarcasm, didn’t I? But for real, Peter and Griffin are some of Alex’s favorite people, and Griffin’s Blank Check podcast is one of the best movie podcasts out there. #Blankies!!! I love movies. Blank it. Thank it.)
Get your headbands on and enter the dojo with Collider Live and the whole crew! We got Cobra Kai producers Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg joining us during the second half of the show to talk about the upcoming Cobra Kai season 2! We’ll be talking that and more today with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña!
Today, we’re discussing the most important things about the new #Joker trailer, like is he funny? Is he damaged? Does he like to laugh? We’ll also be welcoming in special guest Jai Courtney (Suicide Squad, Terminator Genisys) to talk about his new movie, Storm Boy! Come have a laugh and an ace time with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña!
Today we're talking about everyone's favorite recurring topic: New Mutants! Apparently, it was listed on the Disney slate at CinemaCon in Las Vegas yesterday. You ever been to Vegas? I lost hundreds of dollars at Blackjack the last time I was there and spent the rest of the weekend aimlessly wandering the streets trying to find a purpose in life while people in cardboard Transformers suits walked up to me and tried charging $45 for a picture. When i politely said "No thanks!", Bumblebee shrugged and flipped me off. It was great. Vegas is great. Bring the whole family. What was I doing? Oh yeah, back to Collider Live. On today's show, we'll also go over some other news stories in the movie world and we'll definitely spend some time talking about nonsense. Be patient. Enjoy yourself!
Welcome back to Collider Live: Zoobilee Zoo Talk, a recap show talking through each and every moment of Josh Macuga’s favorite childhood show. Breaking news: Macuga has been cast in the gritty reboot as a polar bear or something, I dunno… Also cast are Kristian Harloff as Sammy Squirrel, Dorina Arellano as Bella Batz, Mark Reilly as Marco the Doggo, Brett Sheridan as Kev Kat, Cody Hall as Dalton Dolphin, and Alex Marzoña in the corner!
Fire up the lights, turn on the camera and let’s party like it’s Show #109 baby! We’re talking the latest news, catching up on weekends, hoping Roxy Striar made it back from wherever she went and gets wherever she needs to go, and welcome in special guest Ashley Victoria Robinson to talk about her comic projects, including Aurora & The Eagle! Start your week off right with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Mark Ellis, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña!
Just say the word, or name, or whatever. I haven't seen Shazam yet, but I heard it's great, and apparently, there's already a sequel in development! The Collider Live crew is gonna talk about that, as well as some other movie news and we'll probably play some more Zoobilee Zoo stuff and silly soundbites to pass the time in between. We also have Leonard and Jessie Maltin coming in today! This is shaping up to be an awesome Tuesday!
NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! It's time for another episode of Collider Live and we have ourselves a new trailer for The Lion King remake that is kind of live-action but not really at all since it's technically still animated but honestly at this point, who cares? We'll also go over some recent JJ Abrams Star Wars comments because that definitely won't cause any sort of controversy.....right? As always we'll spend most of the show making each other laugh and playing silly sounds.
Everyone's in Chicago already but WE'RE. STILL. HERE! Can Josh Macuga and Sinead de Vries keep this ship afloat? Do people still refer to aquatic vessels as ships? Does any of this matter? Are we all going to be sucked into a black hole and die anyway? Will anyone ever understand the difference between black holes and wormholes? Will my son finally return my calls? But most importantly, will the seemingly never-ending argument over The Last Jedi ever end? Find out on today's Collider Live!
Happy Monday to all you good people! We are back! Well some of us anyway. A blizzard has held over many of our people in the fine city of Chicago, so we brought together the best of the rest to start your week off right! Join us as we look at the new Star Wars trailer that dropped during Celebration and find out if we can keep this ship afloat! Josh Macuga, John Rocha and Kate Mulligan staff the show with technical director Adam Smith.
Another day and another episode of Collider Live! The vast majority of the team have returned from the arctic tundra which is Chicago and are ready to give their thoughts on all of the happenings from Star Wars Celebration. Does Kristian get another planet named after him? Stay tuned to find out.
We all need more of The Tick and Arthur in our lives, and we have special guest Yara Martinez joining us to talk about season 2! Also today, YA BOI ALEX IS BACK TO WRITE SOME DESCRIPTIONS AND HELP CODY. Come hang with the whole crew finally back from Chicago, Reilly will probably rant at some point, and catch up with everyone! Oooooh wa ah ah ah!
Oh Halo there! We’re back for another day of madness with host Kristian Harloff, Dorina Arellano, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña. We’ll discuss the Master Chief casting for the Halo TV series, the streaming wars heating up, probably get Dorina’s Chicago stories, and more! We’re also giving away a Blu-Ray pack for Glass, so stay tuned to see how you can win!
Let’s end this week with a bang as we welcome in special guest director Joe Carnahan (Smokin’ Aces, The Grey) who knows a few things about explosions on screen. Host Kristian Harloff, Dorina Arellano, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña are here to talk about movie news, nonsense, and whatever we damn well please. Deal with it - that’s the show!
It's Monday and that means we're talking about Game of Thrones or else we've failed as a society. We'll get to talking about that show a little later today, as we're also welcomed in by director Joe Berlinger to talk about the upcoming 'Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile'. What else are we talking about today? Who knows? I'm writing this description before we go live. I can't predict the future. Neither can anyone else. Sorry to disappoint you. Happy Monday!
Special guest Mary Mouser joins us to talk #CobraKai season 2 today! Also, there will be no #AvengersEndgame spoilers here, we promise. If one of us does spoil it, report them to Twitter to get their little blue check mark taken away! It’s the only form of currency that matters here. Host Kristian Harloff recently got his blue check, so let’s keep him on his toes! Kristian is joined by Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Mark Ellis, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña, so let’s have some fun!
Okay now we’re at the point where most of the people in the office have seen #AvengersEndgame, except for Cody and Alex. We’ll just chill where we’re wanted, then… Kristian’s out for the day, so Mark Reilly, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña will be taking and sharing the proverbial reins today, talking the usual news and/or nonsense, and taking your Twitter/Facebook questions and phone calls!
TODAY'S THE DAY! Avengers: Endgame releases tonight, which means this is the time when everyone who has seen the movie early will DEFINITELY tell you they saw it before you. Be strong. Avoid confrontation. It's gonna be okay. On today's Collider Live, we'll talk some more Endgame stuff because at this point we've talked about the movie so much we can't have a conversation with each other anymore without bringing it up. We'll also go over some other movie news, probably watch some silly videos, and talk about things definitely not related to the title of this video. You've been warned.
Bah-bahhh-bah-bahhhhhh-bahhh-bahhh-bahhhhh! That’s the #AvengersEndgame theme song, obviously! We’re still not talking spoilers in our usual hour-long Friday episode today, but we will be talking the Scarlet Witch/Vision Disney+ series (hopefully with a better title than WandaVision…), and the usual news and/or nonsense! Now go see Endgame so we can fully talk about it!
$1,000,000,000 is a lot of money. #AvengersEndgame broke all the records this weekend, and we’re here on a sunny Monday morning to talk about that! At the half-hour mark, special guest Betsy Brandt joins us in the studio to talk about her career and more! It’s show 1-2-3, so now you’re only three billionths on your way to counting to Endgame’s opening box office weekend. Let us know when you finish.
How has April already come and gone?! On the last day of this glorious month, we’ll be talking FULL SPOILERS for #AvengersEndgame with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña, so you’ve been warned!!! Okay… are they gone? I think they are… If you’re still with us, you’re one of the lucky ones, or just making really weird decisions with your life. You didn’t see the movie, didn’t read/listen to any spoilers and waited for Collider Live’s review?! Odd choice, but hey you do you. You do you.
It’s May, and that Justin Timberlake meme may be played out, so I definitely may not use that in this description. Host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña are here to talk about the latest and greatest in life and movie news, like Tarantino’s Star Trek may still be happening. It’s a smaller show, so we may be taking your calls and questions on this fine first May Day.
It's Thursday here at Collider Live and no, we don't know why today's title is "Who Stinks?" either. You see, last night I got sent the rundown for today's show and stared at my screen for a solid 2 minutes, trying to figure out what to do for the thumbnail on today's episode. I mean, it's just called "Who Stinks?" What the hell am I supposed to do with that? Do I just put poop emojis? Is it even about poop? What kind of stink/smell are we talking about here? Do you see the issue at hand? So, as you see, I went and did three silhouettes and put question marks on their faces. It seemed like the most logical approach to a title like this. I'm sorry if I've disappointed you all. Let's enjoy the show today!
Is the next #Batman the one who stinks? We still have answered that age-old/day old question and I don’t think we will ever find out. Cody, grab the whiteboard. We’re going to have to detective this mystery with host Kristian Harloff, Dorina Arellano, Josh Macuga, Mark Ellis, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña. May the 3rd be with you. (That’s how it goes, right?)
On the heels of the $2 billion box office haul of Endgame, #SpiderManFarFromHome released a new trailer and we’re here to break it down (not in a dance party kind of way)! Special guest Amirose Eisenbach will also be joining us to hang out and talk about her new documentary, Equal Playing Field! Host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña are here stinking up the studio as we recover from our Cinco de Mayo celebrations.
If you don’t like coffee, #GameOfThrones is not the show for you. It’s definitely the biggest controversy that the show has ever had, and viewership is projected to be down for the final two episodes of this horrendous series...SIKE! We WERE going to talk about that coffee situation, but then all hell broke loose when Star Wars decided to announce the release dates of their new movies. It’s a shame this had to happen. Host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña are here to drag that show through the mud. And also welcome back our first returning guest, David Dastmalchian, to talk about his movie,
It's Wednesday at Collider Live! Did you guys ever struggle with spelling Wednesday? As a child, I really did. I always spelled it with the "n before the "d" and oh boy was that embarrassing. Why am I talking about my traumatizing childhood memories of misspellings? That has nothing to do with the show today. What we're actually talking about is the latest news that Richard Madden is apparently joining the MCU for The Eternals. Do any of us have any knowledge about The Eternals comic? I'm gonna guess not. But we'll talk about it anyway and also talk other random nonsense for the majority of the show.
How much is a sea worth? We get to ask Liam Cunningham that as he joins the gang to talk about his new show #TheHotZone and more! Host Kristian Harloff, Dorina Arellano, Josh Macuga, Mark Ellis, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña are all here to chat with Mr. Cunningham, as well as discuss the #ItChapter2 trailer and other various news and nonsense!
It's Friday here at Collider Live at that means...well it doesn't really mean anything special. Sometimes life's going to disappoint you. You gotta be able to roll with it. Wow this description started out really sad. Let's do this again.....WHAT'S UP EVERYBODY?!?! IT'S FRIDAY!!! *cue airhorn sound* TODAY WE'RE TALKING ABOUT THE MICHAEL ROOKER/SUICIDE SQUAD 2 NEWS, AS WELL AS SOME OTHER STUFF THAT ISN'T THE MICHAEL ROOKER/SUICIDE SQUAD 2 NEWS!!! IT'S GONNA BE SUCH A GOOD SHOW YOU GUYS HAVE NO IDEA!!!
Start your week with your favorite morning Youtube crew, and no sex! We’re talking the Alyssa Milano sex strike controversy, other movie news, this weekend’s box office (PIKA PIKA BABY) recap a little of last night’s #GameOfThrones, and welcome in Chad Michael Collins to talk about his new movie, #HighMoon. Join host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña this morning!
It’s doppelgänger day as we welcome Dane Cook in today to talk about his new movie! Join host Kristian Harloff, doppelgängers Roxy Striar & Mark Reilly, and your favorite Booth Boyz doppelgängers Cody Hall & Alex Marzoña as we talk about the latest movie news (will we finally talk the critical and box office success of the best Detective in the world?) and more today!
It's another Wednesday here at Collider Live and guess what? Seriously, you'll never guess. Do you give up? Okay, I'll tell you. We're talking about STAR WARS! Can you believe it??? As stated in the blood oath we took back in 2015, Star Wars must be a headline in at least one show a week or else the dark lord himself will unleash hellfire upon us all. So here's to us surviving another week without eternal damnation! Hail Mickey Mouse! Wow, I'm done some pretty weird descriptions in the past, but this one takes the cake. This is what happens when Alex isn't here. ALSO, TIFFANY SMITH IS GONNA BE HERE!!! Enjoy the show!
t's Thursday here at Collider Live and we're talking...who the hell knows? Let's be honest. Every day we give you guys a title and a thumbnail that kind of represents what we're talking about on the show but in actuality we'll probably piss off a good amount of people who are looking for that one specific topic in a two hour show. It's like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Side note, where did the phrase "needle in a haystack" came from? Did someone actually lose a needle in a haystack and struggle for days to find it? Why am I even asking this? Let's all just enjoy the show today, huh?
The crew (that went) is back from Houston (yay!) and ready to talk the #GameOfThrones series finale (this could get bad please be nice in the chat yay)! Nothing will be controversial today. We’ll be recapping our Houston experiences, and also welcoming in director McG to talk about his new film, #RimOfTheWorld! Start a wonderful week with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña!
You’ve never had a friend like the Collider Live crew on this beautiful Tuesday news day. We’re talking the rumored Batman villains, John Wick 4, taking your calls and Twitter questions, and most importantly getting one jump ahead of the breadline with #Aladdin himself, Mena Massoud! Discover a whole new world with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña
Hey, guys welcome to another episode of Collider Live! Today we're going to have a good show and talk about some STAR WARS! They released some new images and some plot details for Episode IX so naturally, we're shutting everything in this office down to talk about that. When are we going to bring it up on the show? Check the time codes below. It's gonna be okay. STAR WARS!
It's Thursday, and we're coming at you with another episode of Collider Live! Hopefully, the stream doesn't go down today! Fingers crossed! Today we're talking about the new Terminator trailer, but mostly we'll talk about whatever the hell we decide to talk about. If I had it my way, we'd be discussing bowling strategies while comparing the different throwing styles. Who on the crew do you think is the best bowler? I'm gonna bet it's not Kristian. There's no way he hooks the ball, right? He probably throws it straight into the gutter. I'm probably gonna get in trouble for saying this. I should stop writing this description now.
It's Friday! What are we talking about today?!?! Star Wars....again. You know, I'm starting to think this space franchise might be popular after all. So apparently there's a Knights of the Old Republic movie in the works, which means today is the day that everyone pretends they played the old game and consider themselves experts when in reality they just watched a few Let's Play clips on YouTube and are completely full of crap. Do you know what video game I did play? Tony Hawk's Pro Skater! Let's about that. Remember the Zoo level in Tony Hawk 4? That one was so cool because......oh. We can't talk about that? Only Star Wars today? Sigh. Okay. Cue the theme!
It's Tuesday at Collider Live, and we're talking about...well the same thing we've been talking about for the last few weeks, Avengers: Endgame! So apparently the movie is getting closer to passing Avatar's worldwide total, and you know what that means: Everyone's gonna take credit for predicting this! Who predicted it first? Who's the most right? Does any of this matter? Will they ever make another Tony Hawk's Pro Skater game? Will I talk about Tony Hawk's Pro Skater in the description again? Yes, I will! Collider Live, baby!
It’s Wednesday, everyone, and you know what that means! Tacos! I always love a good taco on a Wednesday. Alliteration is great! Anyways, it’s Alex here, and I’m back from a mini-hiatus and other project thingys that I’m doing, so hello did we actually get flagged? It’s chaos when I’m not here, apparently. We’re talking Venom possibly in #SpiderMan 3/“Homeslice” (working title), other news, definitely catching up with me (probably not), and more! And Josh and Roxy have a TV Talk announcement! It’s a Quesadilla Wednesday with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña!
It's Thursday, and today we're gonna talk about God knows what, but eventually we'll get to talking about Godzilla: King of the Monsters and probably that new Rambo trailer. We also have Winston Marshall joining us! There are also some updates on the New Mutants reshoots because that story DEFINITELY hasn't been talked about enough already. It feels like we talk about that movie every month. It's like we're in a short endless loop, kind of like we're repeating the same cycle. Kind of like the timed levels on the first three TONY HAWK'S PRO SKATER GAMES THAT'S RIGHT GUYS I BROUGHT IT BACK TO TONY HAWK AGAIN!
Hey, guys, it’s Alex and I’m back and sure I didn’t miss anything yesterday because nothing goes wrong when I’m not here. It’s a special Friday show today, but why is it special? Is it because we got Mark Reilly, Josh Macuga, Dorina Arellano, John Rocha, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña IN DA HOUSE? Probably. We’ll be talking about Robert Pattinson getting officially cast as #TheBatman, #TheDarkCrystalAgeOfResistance trailer, taking your questions, and shooting the turds on a very uncontroversial Collider Live!
June gloom is real today but we’re here to brighten up your day on Collider Live babyyyyyyyy, with special (and returning) guest Steve Byrne joining host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña in studio! We’ll be talking #IndianaJones5, Godzilla: King of the Monsters box office, our weekend happenings and such, and more news and nonsense as per usual.
Play some Western music, Cody, because it’s time for a good ole mashup! We’ll be talking the #DjangoZorro news, and also welcoming in special guest David Yarovesky to talk about his movie, #Brightburn, after we catch up with the usual crew of host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña!
Hit the fire alarms, Cody, because it’s time to give our review of #DarkPhoenix! Host Mark Reilly (Kristian is sick. No need for any conspiracy theories…), Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña are cooking up a great show for you today, talking the latest in movie news and doing some of the funnest of nonsense. Special guest Jamal Trulove will be joining us in studio to talk about #TheLastBlackManInSanFrancisco and more!
It's Friday here at Collider Live and you know what that means.....nothing. It means nothing. I tried there, I really did. ANYWHO, today's gonna be a good show, not only because there's some D23 news, which means we're probably gonna talk about Star Wars for the 983rd day in a row (Our Disney blood oath is still trucking along!). But we're also welcoming in Seth Green to talk about his new movie 'Changeland'! So sit back and enjoy our show in all its 720p glory.
Oh hey didn’t see you there! If you haven’t heard the rumors, we are back for another show this week! And for the rest of the week! It’s like we’ve been doing this for almost 10 months now! We’ll be welcoming back Seth Green along with Breckin Meyer in studio to talk about #Changeland, talking to Jeannine the Machine, and discussing the latest stinker in a line of stinkers in the box office this year #DarkPhoenix. Host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña kick off the week with a stellar show SO LET’S GO DO THE THING!
It’s Taco Tuesday baby and we hope that the X-Men eat all the tacos they want since they won’t be coming back for a while, apparently. (Wouldn’t it be great if, when they do, Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy switch roles? One can dream. But also, I called it if that happens. Watch.) Special guest Gabriel Bateman will join host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña to talk about Child’s Play. We’ll also be taking your questions and calls today!
I feel like it should be spelled “Wendsday,” but American English and English, in general, is weird, so here we are. Host Kristian Harloff and Roxy Striar saw #MenInBlackInternational, so they’ll be giving their thoughts on it, with Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña silently nodding as they talk. But even more awesome is that we have the director and producers of #ToyStory4 in the house! Special guests director Josh Cooley, and producers Jonas Rivera and Mark Nielsen are here to talk about the fourth installment of one of the best franchises ever!
On today's show, everyone saw Toy Story 4 last night, so they're gonna review and talk about that. We'll also go over some movie news, maybe take some phone calls, and then speak to Ralph Macchio about Cobra Kai! And THEN at the very end of the show, we'll do an in-depth discussion about the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series. We'll discuss every game in detail, find out where the series went wrong, and then cap it all off with a group karaoke of the games' soundtracks! I can't wait for... wait we're STILL not doing that? Come on! Give the people what they want!
I accidentally showed up early like a good boi, fresh and ready for a super super fun show and now my energy lever has gone down so like here we go I guess… WHAT TIME IS IT?! 10:30! Special guest Nathan Hamill is joining the studio today to make a mysterious announcement, talk about #AntMan3 maybe not happening, and just hang out with the gang. Host Kristian Harloff is back from his morning swim, Dorina Arellano stepped outside today, Mark Reilly hopefully didn’t forget to put whatever on his door so Leia wouldn’t destroy the house, Cody Hall is hyped on caffeine (caffeinefiend/caffiend), and Alex Marzoña is present!
It’s Super Monday today because we’re here to talk about #Joker and #SuperSoldiers! Special guest and friend of the show Jason Inman joins to talk about his new book, Super Soldiers, with host Kristian Harloff fresh off a hopefully restful Father’s Day. (If it wasn’t, then he’ll let us know sometime during this show.) Roxy Striar, Mark Reilly, Josh Macuga, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña round out the Collider Live crew today as we catch up with the latest AND GREATEST in movie news, regular news, and life things!
It’s Choose-day! And what are we choosing today? I don’t know! It’s a pun! Special guests Janel Parrish and Scott Porter are here to talk about their musical #TheLastFiveYears on this wonderful summer in Los Angeles day. Host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Mark Reilly, Josh Macuga, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña are here to talk about the bland summer movie slate and more!
Did a lot of people get married on Wednesdays? I’m just trying to figure out etymologies here, guys. What’s the etymology of etymology? What is life? Why am I alive? Boom. Smoothest segue into #ToyStory4, baby. Special guest Ally Maki joins to talk about her role in the TS4, as we talk a little bit more about the movie since more of us have seen it. We’re also talking #Marvel going to Comic-Con Hall H this year and more with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Mark Reilly, John Rocha, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña!
Who's ready to react to some reactions?!?! THAT'S what we decided to do today for Collider Live! Everybody loves these social embargo reactions for movies, right? It's the time when people see movies early and then tweet about them and say things like "This one knocks it out of the park!" or "The best one yet!" or "Not to spoil the ending, but I'm totally about to spoil the ending by describing it right here in this tweet!"or "I saw this movie early because I'm BETTER than you!" We're gonna read a bunch of those exact tweets today so take a drink every time someone says "I can't give anything away BUT...." After that, we''ll be joined by Gianni Paolo from "Ma"! Maybe we can scare Josh again. So sit back, relax, and be sure to tweet your reaction to today's episode once the embargo lifts at 12:00 PST. NO SPOILERS THOUGH!
It’s a relatively calm Friday today but that means there’s a lot of room to get cuhhhhhhhhhrazy over here with host Kristian Harloff, Dorina Arellano, Mark Reilly, John Rocha, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña! It’s party time but only for an hour as we talk about the #StrangerThings3 trailer, #SpiderMan and Venom potentially crossing over, magic, illusions, whatever inside jokes they came up with when I was gone yesterday… Anyway, it’s been a really musical-filled week for me, so I hope we talk about musicals at some point. Also, if you’re reading this, tweet me (Alex) a gif of Forky or something fun. Why? Cuz I said soooooo. This has been probably one of the weirder descriptions but I’m going full stream of consciousness baby and hey that’s the show!
It was one hell of a weekend for most of the crew, but we’re back and the studio looks just a little different… We’re also excited to welcome in Sean “X-Pac” Waltman to the studio! Host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña will be here catching up, talking the #ToyStory4 box office, maybe a little Big Little Lies… I don’t really know, guys, the possibilities are ENDLESS!!!!!!!!!!
It’s a loosey-goosey Toosedy day as Devon Stewart joins us later in the show! Steve “Frosty” Weintraub will also come onto the show to make a SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT?! Was he the one who changed the studio look? Will he iron the curtains? Stay tuned. Host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, John Rocha, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña are here to talk #SpiderManFarFromHome, Taika Waititi’s animated #FlashGordon, and more!
It's Wednesday here at Collider Live, and today we're talking about *checks rundown* The Office! Wait, is this 2007? Oh well. So apparently NBCUniversal is taking the show off Netflix soon, and everyone's losing their minds. Because don't we all know that the show can ONLY be available on streaming and definitely not already available on numerous DVD and blu-ray collections? Oh, they're already available on DVD and blu-ray? You don't say! This passive-aggressive description has been brought to you by physical media. Check it out! It's media you can own physically!
Spidey, we’re home. *Cue thwip tears* We/some of us are here to review #SpiderManFarFromHome, and probably talk about THAT ENDING THO. We’re not gonna spoil anything, BUT THAT SCENE. YOU KNOW WHAT WE’RE TALKING ABOUT. Anyways, I saw The Farewell last night, so I’m still emotionally recovering from that. Host Kristian Harloff, Dorina Arellano, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall and Alex Marzoña are here to chat about things and stuff!
Breaking news: Comic-Con drops out of Comic-Con. It’s our last show of the first half of 2019, so say yes to this Collider Live crew as we talk about Sony dropping out of #ComicCon, Salma Hayek possibly joining the MCU, and more random stuff. Host Kristian Harloff welcomes back Kate Mulligan (woo!), Dorina Arellano (yay!), Mark Reilly (yas!), Cody Hall (okay!), and Alex Marzoña (my new song, Maybe in Another Life, is out! Magic and wonder are waiting for you!) to the show! Let’s close out June errrrrbody!
It’s the first show of June and— wait— what? It’s July? You told me it wasn’t! You lie! JULY-ER! My ex told me that joke one time, and it’s literally the only good thing that comes to mind when I think about her. She may have put a dampener a lot of things I once held dear, but she hasn’t seen me in this stage of my life where OKAY CODY IS TAKING OVER THE DESCRIPTION NOW JESUS CHRIST, ALEX. While Alex deals with some personal issues, let me tell you what the show will be about today. We're talking some NBA free agency! Can you believe KD went to the Nets? Where's Kawhi gonna go? Let's laugh at the Knicks and.....we're not talking NBA? We're doing Masters of the Universe? Again? Sigh. Welp, I imagine He-Man would be a BEAST at power forward, and Skeletor would be one of those sneaky small forwards who aren't that fast but can shoot a mean three from the corner. I don't know what else to talk about here. Mainly I'm just killing time until Alex is done with his therapy session.
Happy Tuesday, everybody! Today on Collider Live, we're talking about some more reboots and sequels that ignore the other sequels and you know what I'm starting to think we're all dead and this is all an endless purgatory where all the media we consume is the same thing recycled over and over and over until we realize that this is the sideways timeline and this was all meant for us all to meet together and remember the fun times we had on that island where there were polar bears and smoke monster and a hatch where you had to type a bunch of numbers or else the world was about to end. I guess I just miss Lost. Around the 30 minute mark, we'll also have Devon Sawa & director John Herzfeld in studio promoting Escape Plan: The Extractors! This is gonna be a good episode today!
News #Flash! Will that movie actually be happening? Will there be a Collider Live show on Friday? Spoiler alert: maybe and yes! Host Kristian Harloff is here along with Roxy Striar, Mark Reilly, Jay Washington, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña (back from his therapy session on Monday; we hope he got all that business straightened out…) are here and hopefully not getting replaced every 6-8 months or so due to irreconcilable differences with the star.
We're here with another episode of Collider Pre-Tape! Yes, today's episode of Collider Live isn't actually live because it seems like everyone except Cody didn't have to work today so instead, we decided to shoot a bonus episode to get you through your Friday morning. On today's show, we talk about flies (don't ask), movie news, and broken air conditioners!
Another day, another remake trailer. We’re gonna be talking about #Mulan and season 3 of #StrangerThings! Are we talking spoilers or non-spoilers for the new season? We hope you watched it because IT’S BEEN OUT FOR 4 DAYS NOW YOU PLEBES. We expected each and every one of you to sacrifice 8 of your precious weekend hours to the machine that is Netflix. The whole social construct of binging a popular TV show within days demanded you to stay up to date so we can all talk about it here with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, John Rocha, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña. Anyways, we’ll let you know if we’re doing spoilers or not when we get to it!
People getting mad about things on the internet? That’s never happened before, so the #Joker movie will certainly be the first to cause controversy, I’m sure. Host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña will be talking about that, and welcoming Jason Mewes into the studio to talk about #MadnessInTheMethod! Also, has Kristian finished Stranger Things 3 yet? We barely talked about it yesterday…
I mean, one billion isn’t a whole lot of money, right? Especially for an MCU movie, they’re kinda chillin, but we’re here to talk about the #SpiderMan rights possibly going back to Sony, with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Mark Ellis, Ken Napzok, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña! Special guest Todd Garner is back again to talk about Mortal Kombat and hang out cuz we’re just that gosh darn fun! We’ll also be talking some adventures at the #TheLionKing premiere and more!
Today on the show, everyone except Cody got to see The Lion King early so this seems like as good a time as any to remind you all that nobody cares whether you consider this movie live-action or animated. So let's go ahead and stop those Twitter threads before they even start, okay? What we REALLY need to argue about is whether or not Tony Hawk's Underground is considered a step forward or a step backward in the THPS series. I, for one, thought the open world aspect of it was groundbreaking and a massive improvement over its introduction in THPS4. And how about that story mode??? Just revolutionary for the time! Now, of course, the games really started to crap out after this installment, so maybe Underground was the cause of everything we ended up hating about the Tony Hawk series. Hmm. What a thought. What are we talking about on this show again? Honestly whenever I do these descriptions I kind of just start typing until someone on the show notices. Sigh. They're not noticing. They never do. Well, at least I have YOU GUYS.....right? Guys??? WILL SOMEONE READ THIS DAMN DESCRIPTION???
Cue a little Irish ditty because Kate Mulligan is back, and so is “Dumbest Guest” (Dorina’s words, not mine) Nathan Hamill!!! We’ll be talking Jon Favreau already starting on #TheMandalorian season 2, Hobbs and Shaw, some Comic-Con plans, and more on a beautiful Friday with host Kristian Harloff, Dorina Arellano, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña (Alex Marzon-YEAH!)!!! I’m sure it’ll be madness as usual on a Friday with this motley crew, so buckle up. (PS Cody and I were super ready on Wednesday to do a whole Collider Live soundbite game BUT NO YOU JUST HAD TO HAVE YOUR LITTLE SCHMOES REUNION DIDN’T YOU. I’m sure we’ll get back to it at some point, but MAYBE IT’LL BE TOO LATE THEN. MAYBE THE EARTHQUAKES AND THE DARKNESS WILL HAVE CONSUMED US ALL. Anyways, Dorina, get out of the description pls.)
It’s the Monday before Comic-Con and all through the studio, not a creature was stirring except for host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña! Film critic/Christmas movie expert/special guest Alonso Duralde is also joining us to talk everything movies, including a possibly new Agent 007 in #Bond25, The King’s Man trailer, and more! We’ll probably watch some videos that Alex will have to scroll through to find the good parts and Cody will have to zoom in on for you to see!
Today we welcome in one of our special-est guests, #ChrisJericho, into the studio to talk and hang out with the WWE/AEW wrestling legend! Before he joins, we’ll be having a pleasant scholarly discussion of the latest movie news with host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña! Put on your thinking caps, pull out your professorial glasses, and throw that championship belt over your shoulder cuz it’s time for CAHHHHLIDER LIVEEEEEE!
The Joker is wild and so is the crew here today! Papa Loff decided to go to Comic-Con early, so guest host Mark Ellis, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña are here to hold down the fort. We’ll be talking the #Joker possibly going to festivals, Space Jam 2, and more! Special guests Eric Striffler and Jacob Shao, will be joining us to talk about Pretty Much It and their upcoming tour!
Welcome back everybody to Collider Live. It's the show where we scream and yell about things on the internet and occasionally, make some fart noises. Today we're talking about the Game of Thrones guys dropping out of their Comic Con panel... SHOCKER! You ever been in Hall H and you hear just as much booing as you did cheering? Yeah, 2016 Justice League panel with Zack Snyder. Look, I don't care for those movies but booing the guy trying to promote his new movie is just lame. For real, don't boo people. Well, you can boo your least favorite sports team but that's kind of different. Or maybe it's not. I don't know I don't usually write the descriptions (this isn't Cody or Alex btw). Who could it be? Find out on this week's episode of Scooby-Doo.
Comic-Con is over and all that but let’s not bury the lead here. We got Frank Grillo himself in studio today to talk about #PointBlank! No (Cross)bones about how awesome it is to have him here on Collider Live, as we talk all the news that came out of SDCC like all the Marvel craziness, #Blade, Top Gun: Maverick, Terminator: Dark Fate, another movie: subtitle, CGI-photorealistic Cats and The Lion King, and more! We’ll also share some certainly wild stories from our weekend on today’s show!
We’re talking #QuentinTarantino, Mr. Rogers and Robert Butler the 3rd Esq. today on Collider Live! Some of the crew have seen QT’s latest movie, but all of us have theories on what his 10th and final(?) film will be. Will he be a guest director on RB3’s new short movie, #TimeStamp? It’s a wonderful day in the Collider Live hood with Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Mark Reilly, Winston Marshall, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña!
It's Friday here at Collider Live and we have (no guest) on the show to promote (insert project here)! After that, well, who knows? I don't wanna lie to you guys. This show is impossible to predict. We'll probably talk a bunch of movie stuff, probably go off about some other random crap, we'll make each other laugh a bunch of times, and then we'll go and do the same thing tomorrow. It's a very strange cycle we present here on Collider Live. We end up going through the same motions every time but doing them slightly different, kind of like A SEASON OF NBA 2K19 ON PS4!!! CUE THE AIRHORN, BABY! ALEX FOUND THE BEST DESCRIPTION TEMPLATE AND YOU DIDN’T EVEN NOTICE! NOW GRAB YOUR BOARD AND LET'S GO SKATE!
The weekend is over and everything sucks again. BUT THIS SHOW DOESN'T! We're back on a Monday here at Collider Live and today we're talking about....let's check that rundown first hold on a sec....man I should really read these before I start writing the descriptions and OKAY HERE WE GO! Today we're talking about Andy Serkis potentially directing Venom 2 because sure, whatever. We also might talk about that new foot movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Speaking of which, does anyone here actually do the thing in cars when you put your bare feet up on the dash or stick em out the window? Seriously, what's up with that? Is that actually a thing? It's weird. It's weird, right? Am I weird for saying it's weird? I don't know. Wear shoes. Hashtag shoes.
We got special guest Emmy award-winning journalist Kelley Carter on the show today! But before that, apparently the #BlackWidow will feature multiple Black Widows? What is this, my nightmare? Spiders are no bueno. [This upcoming part was written on my birthday night and didn’t send it in to Cody in time yesterday:] Anyways, it’s been a good birthday weekend for myself, Alex, and it is currently 11:16p on my birthday, and I’m here with PJ Campbell and Brandon Hanna in my room hanging out. Thanks for tuning in to Collider Live with my bestest buddies Roxy “RJ” Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and mothereffin Alex Marzoña (Marzon-YEAH!) baby let’s go. PS I almost asked out my Starbucks crush last night, so wish me luck next time I guess? Will give updates if I ever do.
“Ello it’s Jason Statham and my movie called #HobbsAndShaw is coming out this week and you should watch it.” Hey Jason, thanks for coming in to tell us about that. We’re going to review it today. “And happy birthday to Cody Hall!” Oh wow, how did you know it’s birthday today? You’re a good friend. Thanks for joining us, along with special guests directors Tyler Nilson & Michael Schwartz who are here to talk about their new movie, #ThePeanutButterFalcon. Come hang out with the Collider Live crew as we wish a very happy birthday to Cody and Harry Potter, with Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody, and Alex Marzoña!
It's Thursday here at Collider Live and today we're talking some New Gods! Has anyone on the table actually read that comic? We'll find out. I'm gonna guess no, but let's find out together. At the end of the show we'll also be interviewing "Luce" director Julius Onah! I think Sneider might be coming in at one point. We'll see what happens. This show is impossible to predict, much like the school level from TONY HAWK'S PRO SKATER 2! Remember that thing? Shit was crazy! There was so much to explore!
It's a HUGE Friday show today because we're talking about....that's our title? That's what we're going with? OKAY THEN! What did you watch last night? Did you watch things? Maybe a television program? Maybe a sporting match? Maybe you just stood in front of a mirror for two hours just watching yourself trying to find the meaning of life. No? You didn't do that last part? That was just me? OKAY THEN! I don't know what else we're gonna talk about today, but Kate Mulligan is here and she's always great. We'll also probably breeze through some movie news quite rapidly and maybe even take some phone calls. That's right, call in and tell us what you watched last--I can't do this. I'm sorry guys. I tried with this title. I just don't know how to tie this back into Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. I feel like I just failed....kind of like when I FAILED AFTER TRYING THAT MCTWIST OVER THE HELICOPTER IN HAWAII IN TONY HAWK'S UNDERGROUND THAT'S RIGHT YOU THOUGHT I DIDN'T HAVE IT IN ME! BAM!
The #HobbsAndShaw aka Boom Boom Bros’ box office was boffo this weekend, making more money that I’ll ever make in 180 lifetimes; please donate to my Patreon to make it just 90 lifetimes! Everyone is here except Señor Harloff (he’s the Vin Diesel of the group), so Mark Reilly, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña are filling in in this week-long spinoff of the main show. Guest host Sam Bashor will be helping fill in the void (is he the Idris Elba or Vanessa Kirby of the crew?) on this episode of Collider Live Presents: Collider Live Family.
Andy Serkis is directing #Venom2? What’s next? Gemma Chan playing another character in the MCU? Well whaddya know, it’s happening, boys and girls. (And hopefully so is my dream casting of Serkis as The Thing LET’S GO BABY!) We’re also welcoming in Alexandre Amancio to talk about #ReflectorEntertainment and Unknown 9! Call him the Boat Boy, cuz Josh Macuga is steering the ship with Roxy Striar, Mark Reilly, Winston Marshall, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña, so don’t turn your dials you younguns!
“Put your stinkin’ paws ON me you nice clean ape!” is definitely what Mickey said to Caesar after acquiring his company. That’s how these things work right? With botched #PlanetOfTheApes quotes? We also got special guests first timers Jesse Kove and Weston Cage in studio promoting their new film #DDay! Host Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña also welcome guest host Stephanie Sabraw as we discuss the latest and greatest!
Just like how I don’t know what to do with my life, Marvel is a little lost on what to do with #Deadpool. So I guess I have one thing in common with a corporation? Pretty unclear what will happen on their end - and also my end, I’m just kinda rolling with the punches and drifting through life right now. Also drifting is David Leitch cuz he did Hobbs & Shaw. Look, I’m just trying to connect these threads and maybe my life will also tie together and end up having a meaning. Anyways, guest host Mark Reilly, Dorina Arellano, Roxy Striar, Jay Washington, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña are here trying to figure out their lives too. Come have existential crises with the Collider Live crew!
Hey guys, this is just a PSA to check your bank statements regularly. If I did, I would have noticed that I still have MoviePass. You think if I keep it for a few more months that it will somehow be advantageous to have had it? Guys, I’m gonna take the bet and keep it. Maybe I’ll start an Indiegogo to fund one year of keeping MoviePass. Please donate. My password wasn't changed, but their service has voluntarily been down for a month? Weird stuff. I think I watched at least 30 movies with it, so that’s at more than $450 worth, so I shouldn’t complain too much? Anyways, Collider Live, Friday, yada yada, listen to my music, Mark Reilly and Dorina Arellano and John Rocha and Nathan Hamill and Cody Hall and Alex Marzoña (it me!) are here, but have you heard my music yet?
It's Monday here at Collider Live and Kristian is back from vacation! During the show today, we'll talk about the controversial decision Universal made to cancel the release of The Hunt. We'll also be talking about the latest in the world of movie news and silly news and all kinds of news. Do your parents still watch the news? Tell them to stop. Have them watch Breaking Bad or something. We'll also be welcoming back Kelley L Carter a little later in the show!
Just a quick PSA everyone: it’s Tuesday! Tacos for everyone! Del Taco has some good Beyond meat tacos for Veggie Boys like me which are real good! Anywho, we’re here to talk about #StarWarsTheRiseOfSkywalker and its most probably definitely 3+ hour runtime (with a 5 hour director’s cut announced in January) that will make everyone retroactively love The Last Jedi. Join host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Winston Marshall, Mark Reilly, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña as we also welcome special guest Lewis Tan in studio talking about his new show #WuAssassins, and to officially make me (Alex) the second best good-looking Asian on the show.
It's Wednesday here at Collider Live at we're talking about one of the most anticipated movies of 2018, New Mutants! I guess they're not so new anymore because you know what I'm just gonna give up on this joke while I'm ahead. Alex isn't here today so I gotta write this damn description and I don't know what the hell to put here. Normally when I do this I go off on some random tangent about something stupid and then miraculously bring it back to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater but I'm not sure if I can do it today. That's the thing about descriptions, you think they're super easy and fun but then it becomes a scary and intimidating..........KIND OF LIKE THE MALL LEVEL IN THE FIRST TONY HAWK GAME THERE WE GO, GUYS I'M BACK CUE THE AIRHORN SOUND!
We’re already somehow midway through August, two shows away from Show 200, and 5 days away from a full year of Collider Live? Crazy how time works and stuff. It’s like time doesn’t even wait for us to let us sit in each moment and let the wonder of life really sink in. It feels like we’re just grains of sand on a distant star that don’t have any impact on the greater universe around us. Does what we do truly matter, or are our ambitions just unimportant motivations in the grand scheme of things that proves that humanity is a failure? We’re here to discuss that TODAY on Alex’s Crisis Corner with Mark Reilly, Dorina Arellano, Josh Macuga, Coy Jandreau, Cody Hall, and Alex Marzoña. Special guests Grace Hancock of the #GraceAndAliciaHaveLives podcast will join to lend their opinions to the matter. And #StarTrek and Mission: Impossible and stuff.
It’s official, we have an #ObiWanKenobi TV show coming to Disney+, or at least we think we do. I don't know. Twitter keeps changing its mind. The real question is how many episodes will it be? Obi-one? Obi-two? Okay I’ll stop there. It’s Friday so we gotta fit in some nonsense somewhere. When you think about it, it’s kind of embarrassing for that joke to be the crux of the description for an episode right before a milestone. Like, what really am I thinking? What am I doing here? Who am I? (This Friday edition of Alex’s Crisis Corner is brought to you by Collider Live, with Kristian Harloff, Dorina Arellano, Mark Reilly, John Rocha, Cody Hall, and Crisis Kid himself Alex Marzoña.)
Guys, we did it! 200 shows and we’re somehow still on the air! Who knew that poops, farts, and horrible neighbors would get you this far! To celebrate we got the usual crew minus the anchor in the booth (definitely due to being a new papá with a new baby) to celebrate and talk about He-Man, Joel Silver, and more as host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Adam Smith, and Alex Marzoña gather in a seance and sacrifice special guest Ben Bateman to the gods in exchange for 200 more shows. Oh, we’re not doing that today? Someone’s gotta change the outline, then.
????IT’S BEEN A YEAR! Why couldn’t we have taken a day off to make this line up with our 200th episode?!?!?! MY OCD IS GOING CRAZY. To show how far we’ve come, we’re welcoming in special guests Tiffany Smith and Stephen Glickman to talk about their Saturn Awards podcast #LiveFromSaturn, talk about more of our favorite memories, #Bond25’s official title No Time To Die, and talk about not mooching Disney+ accounts! Join host Kristian Harloff, Roxy Striar, Josh Macuga, Mark Reilly, Christian Ruvalcaba, and Alex Marzoña as we celebrate 1 year of madness!
