College GameDay Built by The Home Depot will kick off the 2024 college football season in Dublin when ACC rivals Florida State and Georgia Tech play in the 2024 Aer Lingus College Football Classic at Aviva Stadium. Working in cooperation with Aer Lingus, the flag carrier of Ireland and Tourism Ireland, College GameDay's trip overseas marks the first time that college football's premier pregame show is originating from outside the United States.
"College GameDay" visited Columbus, Ohio for Ohio State vs. Texas on Aug. 30. Ohio State ultimately defeated Texas 14-7. In addition to game coverage, the broadcast offered a special send-off to longtime contributor Lee Corso following his retirement announcement. Fans can also stream a one-hour tribute special to Corso on demand on ESPN. The program covers the full scope of Corso's adventures in college football as a player, coach and broadcaster.
