Han, Esra’ya yaptığı açıklamalarla durumu bir kez daha kurtardığını düşünürken, Esra’nın çok daha fazlasını gördüğünden habersizdir. Esra öğrendiklerinin şokuyla ne yapacağını bilmez haldedir. Sonunda İnci’ye anlatır. İnci için durum bu kez sadece bir şüpheden ibaret olmaktan çıkmıştır. Araştırmaya girişir. Naci ise Safiye’ye bu sefer öncekinden çok daha büyük bir sürpriz hazırlar. Ancak işler planladığı gibi gitmez. Artık Naci için gerçeklerle yüzleşme vaktidir. Hikmet’in hastalığı yüzünden yaşadığı kafa karışıklığı, Gülben ve Esat’ı çok zor bir durumda bırakır. Neriman ise okulda Gamze’nin meydan okumasını kabul eder ve yepyeni bir heyecan keşfeder. Bu keşif, onu hiç tanımadığı tehlikeli sulara yönlendirir. Esra’nın apartmandan gelen kokuyu takip etmesi ise ortalığı iyice karıştıracak olaylar silsilesini başlatır.
