Elsewhere, Knight of One Bismark Waldstein informs the Emperor of a meeting between the princes and princesses about waging war against the Chinese Federation, where Schneizel decides threats and negotiation will work better than open war. Cornelia, determined to reveal the existence of Geass in order to clear Euphemia's name, confronts General Bartley, who begs her to help them, saying the Emperor's recent actions may destroy the world. While Suzaku and Lloyd discuss on the Guren, Nunnally visits Kallen in prison. Jeremiah arrives in Area 11 and uses his newly-acquired Geass Canceller on Shirley, restoring her memories of Zero's identity.

Scopriamo inoltre l'esistenza di una misteriosa organizzazione, il "Culto", un gruppo che è in qualche modo legato ai poteri del Geass e che è attualmente sotto il controllo di V.V.; in questa occasione scopriamo anche che Cornelia è viva, ed ha deciso di dimostrare al mondo l'esistenza del Geass per dimostrare l'innocenza di Euphie riguardo al massacro della prima zona ad amministrazione speciale del Giappone, ma ella viene quasi immediatamente catturata da V.V.. Tornato in Giappone, assistiamo ad uno sviluppo improvviso: il ritorno di Lord Jeremiah Gottwald. Sopravvissuto alla caduta nell'oceano e reso ancora più potente dall'aggiunta del Geass Canceller, Jeremiah fa sì che Shirley recuperi i ricordi cancellati da Lelouch, e successivamente egli si dirige all'inseguimento di Zero nella sua veste di "Assassino del Culto".

Lelouch vuelve de su viaje a la escuela y resulta que Sayoko, que estaba reemplazándolo ha aceptado todas las citas que las demás estudiantes le han propuesto y aparte que le dio un beso a Shirley para que esta no descubriera la base secreta. Y así varias chicas van detrás de Lelouch y tiene que aceptar las citas. La presidenta crea el evento de Cupido en el instituto en el los estudiantes varones deberán de usar un sombreo azul y las chicas un sombrero rosa en forma de corazón y si la chica o el chico le quitaba el sombreo a la otra persona, serian pareja. Lelouch logra huir de esta conmoción con la ayuda de Rolo y se esconde en la biblioteca donde intercambian lugares con Sayoko. Shirley lo encuentra, empiezan a hablar, ella le quita el sombrero y le pone el de ella y así, los declaran pareja. En el final, se ve que Jeremiah Gottwald usa un cancelador de geass que le devuelve los recuerdos a Shirley.
