丁之童毕业后从来不敢浪费时间谈恋爱，却被阳光开朗、没有生活压力的甘扬追求。丁之童发现二人虽然家境不同，却有着十足的默契，同意和他在一起。但二人的经济差距以及步入社会后的一系列现实问题，成为二人甜蜜的恋爱中无法掩盖的矛盾。甘扬家中产业衰败，他隐瞒真相与丁之童分手。丁之童误以为自己被抛弃，痛恨甘扬。十年后，两人在生意场上再次相遇，最终他们解开误会，重新走到了一起。
