Chizzy Akudolu hosts the contest in Somerset, as local boy and chef Dean Edwards summons all his experience, uses all his skill and finds a bit of good luck to try and defeat the line-up of celebrity chefs and the local challenger who await. Dishes include mizo-glazed aubergine with parsnip puree, chard shallots and puffed rice, chicken and artichoke ravioli and deep-fried artichoke and a caramelised pineapple and ginger cake with salted caramel sauce and smoked whipped cream.
