讲述了陈玉楼、鹧鸪哨等老一辈“卸岭力士”与“搬山道人”携手探秘湘西瓶山的传奇故事。 民国年间，军阀混战，民不聊生。陈玉楼乃卸岭魁首。他联手军阀罗老歪，入湘西瓶山探秘元墓。途遇搬山道人鹧鸪哨。搬山历来不为财物，只为寻找解除族人诅咒的雮尘珠。为了进入这座从未被人染指的元朝大墓，搬山、卸岭两大派在此结盟。
