Tyler and K.C. keep rolling in the Buck Truck to the great state of South Dakota to meet their friend, Tony Peterson. They look to capitalize on some historical data while hunting public deer on a bed to feed pattern. The drought all but foils their plans, making it pretty difficult to find whitetails in their normally luscious range. With some intensive mapping and scouting, the fellas put together a plan to hunt some new areas in hopes of finding a mature buck. However, what they thought was exclusive access, turned out to be the stomping grounds of some local (and not too happy) hunters. Tyler and KC cruise over to Oklahoma in the Buck Truck to hunt deer on an even playing field. Whitetail in Oklahoma are plentiful, but so are the other hunters. Difficult warm conditions, hunting pressure, and rough terrain make a tough early go of it, but the fellas get zeroed in on the bucks. Tyler and K.C. head out on the road for a southern Whitetail experience with their buddy Clay Newcomb in Arkansas. This roadtrip has a heavy dose of deer hunting nostalgia combined with excellent food, great friends, and some of the wildest country you’ll find in the southern US. Wet conditions and hunting pressure prove to make this expedition difficult, but with some southern ingenuity and grit the fellas find a way to get on the deer.
K.C. and Tyler meet up with their buddy "Señor" Mark Kenyon to chase some bucks around in South Texas. The country lends itself to ground hunting, specifically spot and stalk, with some calling added in. It's the heat of the rut in December and the bucks are running around like crazy, but the terrain and painful plant life do their best to stifle the hunter's efforts.
