Our journey along the coast of Brazil begins in the north, in Amazonia. We will visit Macapa, Belem,and Sao Luis. The coastline is almost untouched
Our journey continues in Brazil's North-East, along the shores of seven states, with almost 1800 kilometres of remarkable discoveries with no settlements for hundreds of kilometres .The only way to reach the interior is to go up-river, or to fly.
Our third visit takes us to the East coast of Brazil to the states of Sergipe and Bahia. Bahia has the longest coastline in the whole country. In Pirambu, volunteers work to help sea turtles survive.
This episode takes us to Brazil's South-East and the states of Espirito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, and Sao Paulo. On the Costa Verde, they carve canoes straight from tree trunks.
Our first stop in Brazil's South is the State of Parana, and the magnificent Superagui National Park. We end our Brazilian journey by exploring the coastlines of three states: Parana, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul.
