Bullet for a Bride

Little Joe ist für eine Verletzung der jungen Tessa verantwortlich, die zu einer Erblindung führt. Aus Mitleid macht Joe ihr einen Heiratsantrag. Obwohl Tessa bald wieder sehen kann, zwingt sie ihr Vater, sich weiter blind zu stellen. Er will so an das Vermögen der Cartwrights kommen.

While out hunting for a mountain lion, Joe accidently shots Tessa Caldwell causing her to go blind. As a result of his guilt, Joe ends up proposing to the girl. However, other circumstances arise that cause Tessa to make a rash decision - one that both her and Joe may regret in the future.

"Little Joe" har dårlig samvittighet, og ender opp med en uheldig forlovelse.
