This week, we’re talking about disguise at Maison Martin Margiela. Fashion and paparazzi and tabloid magazines have an inevitable relationship. Star publications and tabloids are a reality for most celebrities. For Fall Winter 2005, Margiela showed his anonymity-inspired collection, incorporating those concepts into the clothes themselves and showing the collection via their own, in-house created tabloid magazine featuring these incredible trench coats. This whole collection was inspired by the Daily Mail, the Sun and other publications that Martin was inspired by. Join me as we dissect a Maison hallmark.
