Mayuri Kurotsuchi arrives and, despite Szayel creating a doll replica of him, remains confident that he can win. Byakuya arrives to save Rukia, and while Zommari nearly kills him with Gemelos Sonido, he manages to save himself with a technique that Yoruichi taught him.
